Nice Sled my dad has one. Dont know if it was an 89 or 90 been sitting for about 15 years :( Thing was a monster though; if I remember correctly he had a clutch kit on it and man that thing just screamed!
Adam Im guessing about 90 to a 100mph but with allot of engine work and after market you can get it up to 160mph witch is what mine does with after-market rebuilt and jetted carburetters domed heads and flattened pistons and a really really nice clutch kit
Yes Calvin, I traded a 90 ext cat 530cc with a blown piston, for this 89 Mach 1 on my page. what a deal and a lot of power for $ 300.00 I don't know how much it's worth. but to get it ready for this winter I need to fix the carb fuel leak and replace the starter rope, no biggie. I will try to post my sled so you can see the whole thing not just the track.

Nice org track too, not bad for a sled that I only paid $ 300.00 for. The Cat I traded was givin to me by a friend that moved to Hawaii:)
are you kidding me I bought my Yamaha 250 Enticer for $300.00 and it needs new sliders, new tether cord, new seat cover, and a new crank seal, where did you get this/that sled from?
@jimjessup Is that recently or when the sled was newer? i have a mach 1 that is in reall good condition 583 its a 1989 with the 90,s update. My uncle said back in its day it could easily do like 103 or 4. But i asked him what it would do now and he said probably not even close to that (because of its age) What do you thing it will do around? its a stock 583 and its only got like 1800 miles
Nice are you going to get a 89 hood ?I had a 90 .but my Formula Mach one jacket is from 89 its in great shape& I still wear it.I wish Id never sold my 90 Have fun

I got a 1991 mach 1 (two cylinder 617cc) for 50 bucks from my cousin. They have a lot of power. Love these sleds.

Yeah. mines a 617 liquid rotax rave motor. it will do around 120. and i can cat walk it anywhere from 0 to 40mph. its friggin fast.

I have had mine up to 90 mph on a lake for a long run.(Not speedometer reading). The 537 pulls hard but not as much as the 583 or 670.

The Mach 1's are great sleds.
I'm 15 and have myself a '91 Mach 1, and personally love it.

As far as I know, no company currently makes aftermarket pipes or cans for the PRS. You'll have to keep an eye out for a used pipe.
