The TARP bailouts have turned me against big government once and for all, it took that blatant act of theft to shatter the illusions in my mind that there is any difference between democrats or republicans.
1. TARP Isn't a bailout it was a loan program, it hasn't cost us $700 billion, the cost today is $130 billion and going down every day as payments are made and will likely turn a profit. Also AIG the last of the large borrowers has begun repayment. 2. The consitution does allow for congress to inact legislation regarding interstate commerce. 3. Ron Paul voted against the financial reforms that will prevent another Bush style bailout, as in free money to the banks they didn't have to repay.
The other candidates are funded by the recipients of TARP and other bailouts. Largest corporate donor for both Romney and Obama in 2008 was Goldman Sachs, closely followed by UBS and the other bailout welfare queens. This time Goldman is funding Romney again, while Newt received $1.8 million personally (not for his campaign, just for his pocket) from Freddie Mac.

1. TARP Isn't a bailout it was a loan program, it hasn't cost us $700 billion, the cost today is $130 billion and going down every day as payments are made and will likely turn a profit. Also AIG the last of the large borrowers has begun repayment. 2. The consitution does allow for congress to inact legislation regarding interstate commerce. 3. Ron Paul voted against the financial reforms that will prevent another Bush style bailout, as in free money to the banks they didn't have to repay.

I would have given it to companies who are hiring here in the US, or to companies doing well, in order to let the bad ones go under, but give an extra boost to those who are succeeding, so that they'd have better protection from if there would be a huge economic collapse.
