  • It took me the LONGEST TIME to figure out what instrument the main one was, but I finally figured out that it is a muted violin. :) That also makes me really happy because I play the violin. :) Like this if you also figured this out.

  • This is a lovely soundtrack, much like the stories in the original books.

  • Probably my favorite narnia track ever!! :) besides Only the Beginning of the Adventure, Lullaby, and Father Christmas.

  • by fare best song of all the movies

  • I cry everytime i hear this. It reminds me of my childhood. Watching it in the cinema. Then it coming on telly at christmas. Im crying now. I dont know why, but i think of someone who's died, and this song puts their death in a much beautifull way.

  • Fuck the Religious link, the movie is fucking awesome. Don't mix movies with nonsensical utter bullshit.

That said though, the movie is a work of fiction and so is the Bible, so I see why people want to make the reference.

  • you must sit still to listen to this because it will take you far away to a better place and more pleasant time.

  • Aslan represent the christ x)

  • OR, you can simply ignore the link with Christianity and adore the magical story and the majestic lion with the plight of 4 humans in Narnia :D

  • Learning to play this on the piano... but it just doesn't have the same beautiful tone as this does... *sighs in happiness*

  • this music simply contains such warmth and friendlyness

  • I just want to go back in time. And be in a proper forest at night. Not knowing about the future. About the cities. About the concrete that shall cover this land...Just thinking about all the magical things in the world.

  • This song makes me feel all happy and fuzzy :)

  • 5 people didnt meet mr tumnus

  • when i hear this song,it makes me feel sad and happy, sad cause why cant be the world like Narnia, happiness and so fantasy its like your in a very awesome dream... happy cause Narnia is a good movie that really touches in our hearts^^

  • This music makes me feel alive - in a unreal way. It feels like I'm somehow connected to something outside myself, something truly magical. This makes me weep, wanting be in Narnia.

  • Close your eyes and listen to this music, so you are in Narnia! I want to go to Narnia, and I know what one day I would came there

  • Amidst the snowy there was one lamp over the pillar showing me the path to Thumnus ...... wow so cool .... <3

  • you just close your eyes, focus on the music, and it feels like being in Narnia..

this soundtrack is actually out of this world!!!! =)

  • @windblowinggirl All I can imagine is a nervous little faun asking me where spare oom is.. <3

  • and i thought lion king made lions amazing <3

  • I think Mr. Lewis would be very pleased with the beauty that Harry Gregson-Williams composed for Narnia. This music is truly magical.

  • Never have I adored a Lion so much XD

  • I think C.S. Lewis did an excellent job of portraying the Trinity in his books. Yes, Aslan is God, just as Jesus is God ("I and the Father are One.") and the Holy Spirit is God. And how much more majestic can you get than a Lion, right? =) To God be all the glory!! This is indeed a beautiful soundtrack. <3

  • Aslan totally does not represent Jesus. He created Narnia himself. He's the god there.

  • @ishaan863 Yes, but Aslan does represent God. (:

  • @ishaan863 "I did not say to myself ‘Let us represent Jesus as He really is in our world by a Lion in Narnia’; I said, ‘Let us suppose that there were a land like Narnia and that the Son of God, as he became a Man in our world, became a Lion there, and then imagine what would happen.'" ~C.S. Lewis~

In a letter, Lewis outlined how the Narnia books compare with Christianity:

  • If Aslan was actually God i would so follow the faith! :) LONG LIVE ASLAN

  • 5 White Witch followers. How cruel the world is today. Tsk tsk tsk.

  • The part at 3:10 sounds so sweet and childlike :)

  • You know, I don't really care about the religious symbolism, as I'm not at all religious myself, but Harry Gregson-Williams is an absolute genius. No other score can rival this beauty.

  • Can someone tell me the name of the melody ? is it lucy meets mr tummus?

  • @NataliaPaola17 yes, that's why it's in the title.

  • LOL i cry when i hear this song. It's the beginning of narnia where Lucy meets Mr. Tumnus. But then i think its over :( Gawd i want a 4th movie. They should make all 7 boos into a movie.

  • What's the name of the song when Lucy is in bed staring at her candle, then she takes her candle and goes to the wardrobe then opens it and her candle gets blown out, then Edmund follows her? If it helps there is a woman (or more than one woman) singing in it aswell, no lyrics though.

  • @AnimePonyDragon maybe that's in the track called "From Western Woods to Beaversdam"? or perhaps a part of "The White Witch"?

  • @Helcaloth Thank you so much! :)

  • I wish Narnia really exsisted. Sometimes, when I feel sad - I wish I could go there. And ofcourse; FOR NARNIA! LONG LIVE ASLAN!

  • @MarennaTW me too , i mean i wish Narnia really exsisted

  • @CammmSisterna1 I know right. Wouldn't it be cool if I stepped into my closet and found out there was a magial world behind it? (:

  • @MarennaTW oh yeees :)♥

  • so amazing ..it must be put as aringing tone ..!

  • I love Narnia and I wish it were a real place

This song is one of my favorites on the soundtrack

  • hmm... 5 people working for that aweful witch, what can we do?

  • ! ! ! ! Long Live King Edmund, King Peter, Queen Lucy, Queen Susan ! ! ! !

thumbs up if you love the pevensies : ) : )

  • aslan represents God in the movie, so yeah LONG LIVE ASLAN (:

  • @marcieeeful Yehh!!!! And the white witch represents saten ( sorry if i spelt it wrong!)

  • @marcieeeful No he doesn't you fool. He represents Jesus hence the resurrection.

  • @wedrinkfromtheriver jesus is fully God and fully man. Foooooooooooooooool

  • @marcieeeful What? That doesn't even make sense.

  • @marcieeeful I'd rather think he represents Jesus in the movie. Because God didn't die on the Cross. Jesus did. And Aslan died on the Stone Table, representing the Cross.

Now I don't want to offense you, I'm just saying.

  • @marcieeeful a jesus representa fijate bien en wikipedia en el pais de aslan estan el y su padre

  • @marcieeeful

Actually Aslan represents Jesus but never the less LONG LIVE ASLAN

  • aslan represents God in the movie, so yeah LONG LIVE ASLAN (:

  • aslan represents God in the movie, so yeah LONG LIVE ASLAN (:

  • I only started loving Narnia Movie a few months before The Voyage...came out. I never stop crying each time Aslan in on the scene. And when watching Narnia 3, I felt as if what Aslan said is like what Jesus tryin to tell me.

  • "I did not say to myself 'Let us represent Jesus as He really is in our world by a Lion in Narnia'; I said 'Let us suppose that there were a land like Narnia and that the Son of God, as he became a Man in our world, became a Lion there, and then imagine what would happen." -C.S Lewis

  • @xxxxlololxxxx

AMEN !!!! This is THE absolutely correct analogy !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @musicsoothesusall Yea :) I also cant wait to see the new Narnia movie that's coming out soon what about you?!

  • i loved this part in the movie. it was so adorable

"if you don't mine me asking, what are you"

    "well...i'm a faun. and you?"

    lol cute

  • I dont know why I keep commenting, I just keep coming back to this video. Someone mentioned that it made your heart ache... almost like a longing feeling. I feel it too... Something so perfect, something that cares for you, that you cant have, because our lives dont hold as much love as the fictional land of Narnia. :(

  • @Shadeleaves C.S. Lewis wrote his books based off God's love for humanity so the perfect caring love that you feel is from God because the movies and books of the cronicles of narnia ultimately show God-the source of everything good, perfect, and holy.

  • @a2m4m60 I realize that. In fact, many quotes made by Aslan seem to refer to himself as "God".

  • 3:32 - 3:58. The most magical part of all in my opinion.

  • This is an enchanting song.... So gentle. Like greeting a friend.

  • @Shadeleaves ,

Couldn't agree with you more...the music is absolutely breathtaking !!!! I could listen for hours !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yesterday I saw 'Prince Caspian', today 'the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe', and now I'm addicted

(Sorry if my English is terrible)

  • @0Lunerancea0 Eres mexicano?

  • @cacarral No, I'm dutch

  • @0Lunerancea0 Hehe, sorry. I´m mexican. Anyway... it's nice to meet you.

  • this song is tied with the titanic music as the saddest songs I have ever heard

  • My uncles name is Aslan :D

  • @NamiHasi kewl

  • This song always puts me into my happy place - Narnia. I imagine myself there, and everything is calm and peaceful. I wish there was such thing as Narnia.. Lucy and Mr Tumnus were my favourite characters, so this song is by far my favourite.

  • I love Mr. Tummnus!!!

  • I hear this music always when I go in the stables....seeing my pony waiting for me...with dark clear eyes...fair haired and vampire teeths sign on her mouth...I wish I could control the time...that´s what I really wish....living in the best moments of the life...my first ride, first time I saw an animal, my first animal book...how I learned every day every animal in the book and all about them....won´t wake up...*~*

  • This is one of the best songs on the soundtrack

Narnia is one of my favorite fantasy movies and always will be

the movie touches my heart everytime I watch it

and listening to the soundtrack makes me feel so peaceful

  • at 1:51 the part i really love begins.

Slightly melancholic and slightly happy... It just calms me...

  • wew!!i want to have more books of narnia but i cant have it!!:((

  • God i want to go to narnia be hell of a place to go to make dreams come true

  • Yes, you're totally right! Thank you very much, i've looked for the song for ages! Thanks a lot! :)

  • Were can I find the song, when the children are sitting in the train to the professor? The singer sangs: one day

I hope someone can help me

  • I think you mean "Evacuating London", that is also uploaded by Saalvatorio, search for it in related vids

  • @bokkers11 Evacuating London, it's called.

  • The Original Order Was The Magician's Nephew,The Lion,The Witch, and The Wardrobe,A Horse and His Boy ( beginning and ending in the last chapter of The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe), Then is Prince Caspian, The Voyage of The Dawn Treader,The Silver Chair, and lastly The Last Battle.

  • soooooooooooooooooo sweet!!!!!

  • This is so relaxing, it almosts makes me cry!

  • i like Narnia 's soundtrack it makes me got feelings. <3

  • I was Mr. Tumnus in a play thing. So muh fun, I got to wear horns. <3

I <3 this music. It makes me feel happy and sad at the same time.

  • oh yes you're right! That would be awesomeXD

  • Sometimes the music from Narnia makes me cry. It always sets the right mood, whether it's a battle or just meeting someone new.

I wish life had it's own soundtrack, so when stuff happens to us music would play ^_^ That would really add atmosphere

  • my second fav in the soundtrack its soo southing and peaceful makes ya wanna fall asleep

  • what's your first fav?? =]

  • My sister thinks I'm weird for saying LONG LIVE ASLAN. Her excuse? They're fictional! So? I don't care!

    Long live Aslan!

  • @AriaInTheSky

Long live Aslan in our hearts ;)

  • @AriaInTheSky aslan is not fictional aslan is jesus

  • @IndigoCat17 So true. =D

  • @AriaInTheSky LONG LIVE ASLAN!!!!

  • @cherries976 LONG LIVE ASLAN!

  • @AriaInTheSky Well if you read the books then you can tell her she is wrong Aslan is real, because he is Jesus Christ. Aslan basically says this at the end of the The Silver Chair. So really you are saying Long live Jesus Christ. :D

  • @tara202 haha I know!

  • @tara202 "Are--are you there too, Sir?" said Edmund.

"I am," said Aslan. "But there I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name." The Voyage of the Dawn Treader :D

  • @AriaInTheSky aslan is jesus u know so it aint weird to say that

  • @AriaInTheSky Fictional! Pshaw! I never worry if something is fictional :P

  • This music is very relaxing. Im college student and today was a Crazy day. My mind is going like a Million miles an hour, just until I began to listen to this music. It very relaxing. No joke. thanks for posting.

  • Have you ever loved something so much, there's an ache in your heart and you feel like you're going to cry? It's sad, and it hurts, but you can't stand to not be a part of it. That's what this song evokes from me. The ache.

  • I understand completely what you mean. I have never felt it that much, but this music makes me feel it.

  • thats hawt

  • Best song on the soundtrack.

  • To prevent further pointless discussion, the only books Mr. Tumnus appears is:

    1. The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe (2nd book, 1st movie)

    2. The Last Battle (7th book and if produced... also 7th film in the narnia series)

  • there is going to be 7 narnia movies?

  • there are seven books altogether, but the movies will be made after one another depending on how popular the last one was.

For example, right now they are filming 'voyage of the dawn treader'. the next in series (order of published/movie release order) is 'the silver chair'.

But they are only going to start filming it if the companies sponsoring for the VDT thinks they made enough income from the VDT.

  • Sorry to correct you, but it's one more, so

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

    The Horse and His Boy

    The Last Battle

(Remember when Susan and Edmund are in Tashbaan, Mr. Tumnus is there as well)

  • true, but i wrote it like that because firstly, as far as i remember, his role in it is minimal and does not really have that much 'acting' in it. Secondly, in my mind, i view horse and his boy as a "stories of LWW" so i kind of attached the 2 together :P

BUt you're right - he does appear in 3 books. Thanks for the correction!!1

  • You got a point there. Still, I hope they'll film it, it would be so said to have less movies than books!

  • hope they film all seven films too.

    LONG LIVE ASLAN!!!! :P

  • and 2 correct u:

    The Magician's Nephew

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

    The Horse and his Boy

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

    The Silver Chair

    The Last Battle

  • How do you mean?

  • the original ordering was The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and then The Magician's Nephew....

  • no...first book was The Magicians Nephew and then The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.

  • what happened to prince caspian b4 dawn treader

  • nothing...wat wud happen 2 him???

  • no i meant prince caspian comes before the dawn treader if im not wrong... in the order of the books

  • yes, Prince Caspian comes b4 The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in the order of the books.

  • This is the best part of the movie! :D

  • mr tumnus isnt back in narnia because when the children are called back by susans horn its hundreds of centuries later even the creatures in narnia dont live that long (:

  • Beautiful song. puts me a dreamlike state of mind. Sigh if only narnia were a real place.

  • i love mr. tumnus..

when i watched the second movie.. i was like: where is mr. Tumnus!!!!!

that's one of the reasons why i don't like the second movie.

  • Same here! I don't think he'll ever be on set again. I can't remember if Tumnus is in the Dawn Treader or not.

  • No, in the books, Prince Caspian was hundreds of years later. There's no way he'd still be alive.

  • thats because it is 100s of years later!!!! dont you understand a thing?!?!?!

  • wow :s i'm sorry :s

    hmm..you don't know how long faun's live, maybe faun's turn 400..

act normal..you don't have to be agressive..

  • hasnt anyone read the book?

  • i've read the buk of d coming voyage of the dawn treader! prince caspian is there! n only skandar n georgie will b in d mvie...

  • Will mr tumnus come again in next narnia?

  • this song is so sweet but in the begining it kind of saounds sad... but its still as good as all the others!

  • Very relaxing song. It calms the mind and at the same time it brings back good memories. Congratz to Harry Gregson Williams for this beautiful score.

  • this is sweet...

  • This is more like a lullaby then the one that they called the lullaby

  • lol true

  • yeah it is a lullaby i am falling asleep right now LOL
