I am a semi pro freestyle ATV rider , and just sayin ... Blasters are the shit , this guy did the right thing removing the restricting front fenders , that IS a stock gearing blaster , just set up right, and running a bit lean perhaps. I jump blasters as my practice quads , and they will eat up 450r's if they're set up right....

whew that's awesome especially the take off, since thats what 2-strokes are made for, I've ridden a friends once(his goes about 70-75) I think all his had done with it was a toomey exhause, now I have another friend that his has racing reeds, fmf exhause, I don't know what else his goes like 80-85) I'm saving up for one now probubly a 2003 or so with a aftermarket pipe...just thought I'd share...great vid

I own a blaster. That's not stock. He changed the gearing.  Not good to do on a stock blaster but on a modified, changing it works great. You pick up a great amount of top end.

@topher5657 how is it not good to change gearing on stock atv?i have a 2004 yamaha yfz 450 all it has is stage jet kit and k and n velocity intake stage 3 and i put on 15 tooth sprocket on the front faster on top end.

@dickweed422 yes 250r's are better, but my 250x is stock and it will do about 65. the blaster is a 2 stroke so in the open like that it will do aleast 70. ok and the 250r will do about 80 in third gear. i have owned a 250r and a blaster in the past so dont questin me.
