I do like this song a lot, but my favourite song is "Dragon's Lair - Sir Sonic Route" You don't hear it until you've almost completed the game, but the song and the level is Awesome.

To me, sonic games were ALWAYS my big turn on......2nd was the speed. Ever since sonic 1, tha music was nice.....sonic 1's spring yard, sonic 2's chemical plant...right on up to listening to sonic adventure's open your heart while biking through hurricane ivan's "eye", SA2's live and learn(BEST SONIC SONG EVAR!!1!11!), to sonic unleashed's empire city(and speedy stages). i dont really care about what happens in the games, just as long as sonic is in it and has EPIC ASS MUSIC...IM HAPPY!!
This games was one hell of a step up from secret rings and I feel like it used some elements from unleashed like barreling through enemy's or the action link (yes I know it's not in the game but the repeated air sword attacks can prove enough)....this had awesome music good gameplay and the story was simple and plain making it enjoyable to play over and over
XD i actually ended up beating secret rings 100% with the WII WHEEL it was surpisingly accurate with all the moves very precise and easy to play with try it yourself

man they should a sonic game where theres chao garden and mostly all the sonic characters in a story and u can play as them. Also.there should be a way longer story but not just going to through a bunch of stages to get tot he end of the game i mean like a more reason to go to each stage. Thank you very much. It's just ridiclous, honestly. I've never really cared for the voice actors in Sonic games. I play it for the game's primary focus: speed.
The only real memorable voice talent for Sonic imo is Jaleel White (the voice actor of him in the early cartoons such as Adventures of Sonic). He actually made Sonic sound youthful, with a different flavour.
But I'm not crying he doesn't voice him, because it's not important. Guys, if you're real fans, focus on the real issue.

Giving him a sword sounded really cliche to me, but then I played the game. I don't have a problem with the voice actors, except they could give Tails a male voice. Yeah, say what you will, I really didn't like Sonic X that much. I met one person who didn't like the day stages of Sonic Unleashed because they were "pointless" and "all you do is basically watch Sonic run". The day stages were great! If I had a problem with Unleashed, it was the night stages. It's just not the Sonic we know and love. The day stages fit Sonic perfectly: speed.
I've been a fan since Sonic 2, and I still say Sonic is still the Sonic I knew and love. It's the same lesson that is taught in Sonic Unleashed, Sonic is still himself, even if he is the werehog/knight/whatever else. He's still him, no matter what gimmick they use. You like the day stages, the other guy doesn't, it's called opinion, you should respect it. Sonic in the old days was actually a platformer as well, which is what the werehog brings. Real fans love Sonic, no matter what happens to him
I respect opinion. Yeah, the original Sonic stages were platformers, but they were also pretty fast. You're right, Sonic is still the same hedgehog he was eighteen years ago. He's aged a little bit, and his voice has changed, and he has a larger number of friends than he used to, and he's got a near-200 issue comic book series on top of having went through four TV shows, but he's still the same. I haven't actually played a Sonic game I don't like, except maybe Shadow the Hedgehog, which was OK.
Sometimes, people (and characters) can go though alot don't change much. And Sonic really hasn't if you ask me. And, I think I played one I didn't like and that was it.

A lot of people didn't like Sonic Heroes, but I thought it was pretty good, along with other games that didn't get great reviews, like Sonic Riders and its sequel, Sonic Unleashed, and Shadow the Hedgehog. I can't judge on Sonic 2006, because I've actually never played it, but I really want to. Unfortunately, I don't have a PS3 or an X-Box 360.
Zero Gravity, because turning was a PAIN and then some. Oh yeah I loved Heroes too, although it's rather hard to get A's cause the level are so long. I have all the new Sonic games and a good number of the older ones. My Genesis still works XD So does my Dreamcast, and I wish I had a Saturn >.>; I'm so insane I bought a PS3, even though I can't stand them, JUST for Sonic 06 >.> And then ended up with Unleashed later. But anyways, yeah Sonic 06 isn't as bad as people say, I liked it atleast. :3

I never got into Unleashed(Got kinda boring on the wii, Werehog was time consuming, but I liked the Speed Zones in Day Time :D), But I never got Black Knight. Sonic Heros was OK, and kept me occupied for a while. THey really needed a chao garden too ._.. CHAO!!! COME BACK D:. Sonic Riders? I played through it all. Nuff said. Cant judge 2006, cause I dont have a PS3... Neither Shadow the Hedgehog.
Agreed on the chao. Some people say it was gratuitous cuteness, but after the addition of Cream (and technically Amy) that argument goes out the window.
Unleashed is alright at night but daytime is fun! Sonic Riderz (the first one) is really hard, but the zero gravity was a piece of cake! I lov Sonic Hereos but it broke so I didn't get to finish it soo...Sonic DX was sooo easy! Sonic 06' was kinda stupid in my opinion.Shadow the Hedgehog was one video game I never even finished the first level( I was only 5! I've been play Sonic games since I was 3, that's when I played the SEGA and G-cube)
I think personally the 2D games were the king of Sonic's gaming career, but, who cares if someone enjoys the 3D ones more? As long as they have fun with it, that's all that counts :)
And please, me liking 2D Sonic more is my own personal opinion, so don't bash it. Each and every fan has their own say on a franchise. Nobody is right or wrong! :)

To me, sonic games were ALWAYS my big turn on......2nd was the speed. Ever since sonic 1, tha music was nice.....sonic 1's spring yard, sonic 2's chemical plant...right on up to listening to sonic adventure's open your heart while biking through hurricane ivan's "eye", SA2's live and learn(BEST SONIC SONG EVAR!!1!11!), to sonic unleashed's empire city(and speedy stages). i dont really care about what happens in the games, just as long as sonic is in it and has EPIC ASS MUSIC...IM HAPPY!!

This games was one hell of a step up from secret rings and I feel like it used some elements from unleashed like barreling through enemy's or the action link (yes I know it's not in the game but the repeated air sword attacks can prove enough)....this had awesome music good gameplay and the story was simple and plain making it enjoyable to play over and over

i dont think the gameplay was that bad. at least it wasn't like sonic and the secret rings. DEAR GOD I HATED THAT GAME! NEVER BEAT IT.

XD i actually ended up beating secret rings 100% with the WII WHEEL it was surpisingly accurate with all the moves very precise and easy to play with try it yourself

@Maxssx3 I Noticed that the first levels of most of the sonic games have the best music in the whole game! Like Sonic the Hegehog, The first level had the best backgound music in the whole game! Its called " Wave Ocean".

man they should a sonic game where theres chao garden and mostly all the sonic characters in a story and u can play as them. Also.there should be a way longer story but not just going to through a bunch of stages to get tot he end of the game i mean like a more reason to go to each stage. They should also make more super sonic stages in between the game. Also, they should have a 2 player story mode thing too. They should keep making rpg games and a bunch of great songs by crush 40.

Oh and btw people, can we please stop bitching about the voice actors? Please? It's driving me insane. Voice acting is not going to break the game, the gameplay itself is what matters. If you want to balame anyone for the quality of the games, blame Sega.
The voice actors are only doing their job. They're only delievering what's being given to them on the script. Isn't that what voice actors are meant to do?
If you don't like the voices, I respect your opinion. But please quit the ranting.

Thank you very much. It's just ridiclous, honestly. I've never really cared for the voice actors in Sonic games. I play it for the game's primary focus: speed.
The only real memorable voice talent for Sonic imo is Jaleel White (the voice actor of him in the early cartoons such as Adventures of Sonic). He actually made Sonic sound youthful, with a different flavour.
But I'm not crying he doesn't voice him, because it's not important. Guys, if you're real fans, focus on the real issue.

You know, a lot of people say that Sega is ruining Sonic, while I don't think that a lot of the things they've done recently have been so bad. Giving him a sword sounded really cliche to me, but then I played the game. I don't have a problem with the voice actors, except they could give Tails a male voice. I mean, having him voiced by a girl is a little over the top.

Exactly, they aren't. :3 They aren't ruining Sonic if you ask me. The games aren't as horrible as people say. Besides, if someone truely loved Sonic, they wouldn't care what Sega did or what others say, they just play the games cause they love Sonic. It pains me to see people complain and put em down so much, it's making it hard to be a Sonic fan now. As for voice actors, I find they are actually trying this time around. Not so bad now as they were in Sonic X, and I agree about Tails ^^;

Yeah, say what you will, I really didn't like Sonic X that much. I met one person who didn't like the day stages of Sonic Unleashed because they were "pointless" and "all you do is basically watch Sonic run". The day stages were great! If I had a problem with Unleashed, it was the night stages. It's just not the Sonic we know and love. The day stages fit Sonic perfectly: speed.

I've been a fan since Sonic 2, and I still say Sonic is still the Sonic I knew and love. It's the same lesson that is taught in Sonic Unleashed, Sonic is still himself, even if he is the werehog/knight/whatever else. He's still him, no matter what gimmick they use. You like the day stages, the other guy doesn't, it's called opinion, you should respect it. Sonic in the old days was actually a platformer as well, which is what the werehog brings. Real fans love Sonic, no matter what happens to him

I respect opinion. Yeah, the original Sonic stages were platformers, but they were also pretty fast. You're right, Sonic is still the same hedgehog he was eighteen years ago. He's aged a little bit, and his voice has changed, and he has a larger number of friends than he used to, and he's got a near-200 issue comic book series on top of having went through four TV shows, but he's still the same. I haven't actually played a Sonic game I don't like, except maybe Shadow the Hedgehog, which was OK.

Sometimes, people (and characters) can go though alot don't change much. And Sonic really hasn't if you ask me. And, I think I played one I didn't like and that was it.

Really? Which one was that? A lot of people didn't like Sonic Heroes, but I thought it was pretty good, along with other games that didn't get great reviews, like Sonic Riders and its sequel, Sonic Unleashed, and Shadow the Hedgehog. I can't judge on Sonic 2006, because I've actually never played it, but I really want to. Unfortunately, I don't have a PS3 or an X-Box 360.

Zero Gravity, because turning was a PAIN and then some. Oh yeah I loved Heroes too, although it's rather hard to get A's cause the level are so long. I have all the new Sonic games and a good number of the older ones. My Genesis still works XD So does my Dreamcast, and I wish I had a Saturn >.>; I'm so insane I bought a PS3, even though I can't stand them, JUST for Sonic 06 >.> And then ended up with Unleashed later. But anyways, yeah Sonic 06 isn't as bad as people say, I liked it atleast. :3

If you have a G-cube controller you can change the controller settings to the G-cube controller.
1) It'll be easy to control the player.
2) The turning won't be as hard as the Wii remote is.

Sonic heroes was good gameplay wise (once you got the hang of switching characters), but terrible plot wise.

I have to say Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic DX are the best sonic games right now... I never got into Unleashed(Got kinda boring on the wii, Werehog was time consuming, but I liked the Speed Zones in Day Time :D), But I never got Black Knight. Sonic Heros was OK, and kept me occupied for a while. THey really needed a chao garden too ._.. CHAO!!! COME BACK D:. Sonic Riders? I played through it all. Nuff said. Cant judge 2006, cause I dont have a PS3... Neither Shadow the Hedgehog.

Unleashed is alright at night but daytime is fun! Sonic Riderz (the first one) is really hard, but the zero gravity was a piece of cake! I lov Sonic Hereos but it broke so I didn't get to finish it soo...Sonic DX was sooo easy! Sonic 06' was kinda stupid in my opinion.Shadow the Hedgehog was one video game I never even finished the first level( I was only 5! I've been play Sonic games since I was 3, that's when I played the SEGA and G-cube)

sonic heroes was a great idea, not a perfect game though, if a sequel comes they can fix the following
1.Controls
2.Plot
3.and make it so you can more instead of "deafeating all enimies"

I think personally the 2D games were the king of Sonic's gaming career, but, who cares if someone enjoys the 3D ones more? As long as they have fun with it, that's all that counts :)
And please, me liking 2D Sonic more is my own personal opinion, so don't bash it. Each and every fan has their own say on a franchise. Nobody is right or wrong! :)

Sonic is one of my childhood icons, and I hate it when a character is being bashed by fans who seem to really, don't know how to enjoy a game.
I love Sonic, always will :). Even though Sega are lost creatively with what to do with Sonic, it still won't change the fact he's my favourite hedgehog.
