The iphone is a ripoff of Palm OS 100%. All the icons starts & set up are the exact same. Don't get me wrong, the look is 10 times better with the iphone, but isn't that what Apple is all about. Flash, looks, and extra costs? I would have bought an iphone a long time ago if it had MS office capabilities, or some kind of business function to it but it doesn't. Its an entertainment phone. The Treo is a work horse & still the best business phone out there.

This is not an accurate test. First one is on 3G and the other is on Wifi 3mbps. Second you need to do some research on the treo. The treo uses Blazer Browser which is connected to a TREO server and in order to use that browser it must first connect to Sprint's server, then the treo server and then the treo server will reformat pages to work the best with the phone experience. Better luck next time though.

I think if you did any of your Edge vs 3G tests with the Iphone and and any (yes any) Sprint HTC phone. the results would be in 3g's favor. While watching this video i can get to the site faster than both phones with my HTC Titan (6800/Mogul). Thats using the standard PIE browser. If I used OPERA browser than it definitely wouldn't look good for any phone using EDGE

WTF? If wifi is connected to a ADSL of T1 or T3 connection, of course it is faster... If you want the test to be equal you will have to go to a park or so and try to compare iphones edge with you treos 3g connection. I mean, WTF, thats like comparing a laptop connected to a wireless hotspot with your 3g mobile device..... nice try thou, try again in without a wifi hotspot and then post your video.

I agree... but the speed of a device has more to do with capabilities of the device than the speed of it's connection to the internet. For the most part, anything connected via wifi is going to be faster than 3g, but if processing (unknown in the case of the iphone) or web browser have problems, it might not be as much faster as we assume it would be...
