his songs would all be epic if he left out the little blips and blop noises that try and make it sound like some sorta trance tecnho crap or whatever it is, without those it would be of the highest quality.
This song is so magestic, when i listen to it, im reminded of when my younger cousin came over for the summer, and we played in my fort together, and one night we kissed. We both really liked it, but my mom found out and said boys should kiss eachother and punished us by making us read barbara bushs biography.
stop analizing this wicked tune , its just a brilliant tune , thats what musics about , its lush , its awesome , its a beuatiful tune, how the fuck can it be like an indie bands track , this is an electronic tune tune and not a guitar based track !!!!! actually its a frequnency modulated sound most of the way through , and thats what makes it weird and wonderful, but its ulrichs tune and its just class !!!!
This video is perfect for this song, as is the song title. There's something oddly familiar about it all, like how some of Boards of Canada's music sounds like summer or something. More music needs to be this atmospheric.
I don't know why, but all I had to think whily listening to the first minutes of this track was: It's off.. It does not sound original.. And then it clicked.. This sounds nearly like some well mixed toghether tracks from Pual Kalkbrenner..o.o Anyone knows why?

@SharingEqualsCaring First part looks like the Minuteman Trail starting in Arlington, MA, and going west. Last part is definitely the Charles River path in Cambridge, MA.
This is my favorite Schnauss track. It conjures up memories of my trip to Japan. The emotion expressed through this song alone is staggering. I love how the drums struggle against the onslaught of reverb and distortion, and once those bells come in it settles the deal right there and then . Holy crap.
@Laurz1233 "ulrich schnauss and boards of canada... two things that make my life worth living for <3" oh man...could not agree more. throw in tycho and bibio and i'm 3,000% percent fulfilled
I was walking my dog On the new Shining Sea Bike Way in North Falmouth, MA USA. This song popped in my head, you see many people do the same TAKE A GOOD WALK to leave the stress of being down or put HAVING A BAD HAIR DAY. After listining put me in a good healthy mood.Thank you Ulrich Schnauss for making a happening video.Just get down the road seeing new sights to be had.
Song is so dope. Listen to it so much! Not many artists in this category/genre nail it quite like Ulrich does. And although simple, this video nails the essence of the song in a very subtle yet effective way.
Biking and Schnaussing at the same time could be dangerous in traffic, but it looks pretty cool on a path. I wonder what biking, Schnaussing and shrooming would be like at the same time.
I want to move to a place like that and get a bike! I've been thinking about it for a couple of years now.. I'm jealous of this guy! Great job, great clip.
i forgot to say earlier how key the bass line is in this track to my enjoyment of it: simple, uncomplicated, and totaly integrated into the ebb and fow of the track.
Found this on a BoC mix. feels less experimental and boundary-pushing, but it is beautifully built up, layered electronica, more artistic and musical.
I was out today after work, not biking roller blading on Cape Cod Rail Trail, MA. Very inlighting to do.Thought of this excilent video. Its like your in a groove, a trance where the trail has no beginning nor ending, its wailting for you to get on the trail.Any bike trail will do. Thank you for your commit. Live well.
Just like my bicycle to go feel good feel the air rushing past.Makes you have a wonderful feeling without a care in the world.Just to ride my bicycle just to get out on the road.Yes, on a Clear Day you can see forever.
i love the broken down tape (subtle singing) effects. I do believe it was overdone a bit by placing it on more than one channel. Also the beats sound a bit inaudible and blurry. Its possibly intended but i like a more crispyer clear sound. overall sphere is awesome though
