I feel like Eminem ruins the experience of some of the songs on this album. Dre's beats on this album are crisp and powerful, and his rapping is...almost...muscular, in a way. It's strong, intimidating, articulate, and lithe. 2:27 is a good example of this. But Eminem doesn't mesh well with it - he's more verbally agile than Dre, but his voice is nasally here, as opposed to some of his later work. It also lacks a lot of the anger that makes his later work (except his recent stuff) good. Oh well.

this is one the greatest rap songs of all time, especially the last verse (which I'm convinced Eminem had to have written). Dr Dre, mel man, scott storch making music. Eminem, Knoc-Turn'al, Hittman writing. Plus snoop, and a song from Jay-Z. That album still holds up easily. But this song in particular, so underrated.
