Very sweet and delightful little film.

I think what Rooster might have missed is that this is an artistic inroad. ALL early artistic expression is representational. Keep telling stories in video, Kasey. You have a raw talent. Perhaps more importantly, you have the persistence to see a project through to completion. Most of my film school friends couldn't even do that. Just keep working and avoid becoming cynical. The sophistication will nurture itself.

I love that this video shows a lot of hard work you put into makeing it, and my hat is off to a young person that knows who Collin Hay is. I would like to offer some critisisim, not to be mean, but to be helpful, I hope you take what I say with a grain of salt. On the bad side of the video, I found it to be way too inturprative of the song, like watching you play scharades set to the song, or mimeing the song. The imagry of a video does not have to litteraly match every word of the song.

Nice, nice, nice. May sound ridiculous, but I'd never heard this song until today I went to a (real-life) friend's page on MySpace and she had it playing there. Instantly one of my favorites ever.

Anyhow...just FWIW, the more imagistic, naturalistic stuff works best, the literal stuff less so. But overall, I just love the effort. I get the feeling we may hear from you someday as a director-cinematographer-whate­ver...
