  • Kelly Blue Book gives a detailed value based on your vehicles condition. I will sell it privately before I let a dealer give me less than what it's worth in trade. The fact that you can't spell shows you don't know a lot of what you're talking about, and to listen to tips FROM a car salesman doesn't seem very smart to begin with.

  • Beethoven is a nice touch.

  • Every deal is different. There is no such thing as the best price. The best price is the one your most comfortable with that includes everything you wanted to buy. Not just the car, but the finance rate, extras, financial add ons etc. Its like saying all houses are the same, they just aren't.

  • its the truth, i wouldn't give my best price over the phone. Who would show their cards at poker? Come see me, take a test drive and commit to buy if you are happy with the deal. Otherwise, don't waste my time. Your not having a price without commitment to buy. Thats what the MSRP is for.

  • People regularly post what they paid for a given car, with a given option package, on auto forums for a given model of car.

Edumunds, consumer reports, whatever. Don't be a rube..

Know your credit score, know what a bank wil quote you for auto loan terms.

  • tell us how to find the best price... you only allude to how to do it.

Use the internet on auto forums; GOSSIP!

TALK TO PEOPLE BEFORE YOU BUY, you are not in a hurry!

I agree "What's your best price" is a stupid question.

I called around; delt with salesmen on the phone, call a second, then third dealer close to my home as well, and they finally say "ok". Read the contract, like the financing deal as well (close to what a bank quoted me) and you are out of there on 48 months, buying a car.

  • Man, it's not just spelling, which, yes, is awful. The punctuation is laughable. Who would pay attention to this vidEo, when even that is spelled wrong!

  • good video!

  • Thanks bro! I hope more people view this and appreciate it for what it is, way better than those other moronic guides to car buying

  • Bad spelling or not....it's the truth....

  • Spelling goes a long way to build credibility in a video
