  • Stop saying clip it's not a fucking clip you've never seen one it's a magazine

  • In a car you can always switch it to a crossdraw mode.?

  • When you say bigger size pants, By how much one size bigger or what.? As long as they don't make it look to loose like a potato sack etc.?

  • I love that your bird mimics the sound of a slide slamming forward.

  • I'm looking into getting one of these for my fnx 40. I'm looking for thier number and can't find it.

  • Your holster is worth more than that gun!

  • @koenigjeffrey Isn't that the truth.

  • funny, I was trying to figure out why my quaker was making noise so late, then I realized it was the video... They are unmistakable :)

  • I like the fashion that is attached to this crossbreed super tuck deluxe .. however, it is very difficult to purchase the same from outside U.S. Besides, the great item cannot be found at ebayi..

Hope that the seller find avenues to allow international orders via ebay and paypal.. just so bad. Just have to drool over it lolz

  • This is a great holster, hands down

  • how much ?

  • good video

  • Shoot the bird

  • Shooooot that fucking bird....all that yapping was annoying in the video. It must remind you of your mother thats why I'm sure you keep it around

  • Forget the bird, get rid of the Sigma! :P That thing's trigger is AWFUL! Take care, thanks for the video.

  • @AmyLeesPetWookiee no shit. The holster is worth more than that piece of shit sigma.

  • Your conceal carry permit is canceled out by wearing a Smith and Wesson t-shirt.

Kind of like wearing a Sons of Silence patch - defeats the purpose.

Actually, it's a good video. Keep on slinging lead.

  • Great video. I will be the first on the sig p220 combat tb when I do mine. Mine will be fully loaded during my review.

  • good video good holster........but I carry a 38....so they must have smaller ones?

  • --AND THEY say drug/alcohol arrests are no-victims crimes- --what? ever live w an addict? or better w an addict who has a gun? nothing can be done- he says-if u leave /tell ill find you--and u better believe he DOES-or his buddies do

  • Chris, I was going to suggest that the first thing you need to do is shoot that noisy bird, but I see that has already been suggested a few times. lol I'm just kiddin'. Great video, and even though I wear my concealed weapon as a cross-draw,, I think you did a great job covering some of my questions about that. I would have liked to have seen you tuck your shirt in over the pistol once, as I do prefer to wear my T-Shirt outside, like yours, but sometimes it's a necessity to tuck my shirt in.

  • Nice vid. Question. So I have a springfield xd40 subcompact 3 inch barrel. I'm planning on buying the 5 inch barrel model in 9 mm. When i order my crossbreed Should I tell them to make the kydex to fit the 5 inch model xd? Will my subcompact 3 inch fit in it as well as the 5 inch model? Thanks. Please reply here or pm me. Thanks

  • Get rid of that DAMN bird!

  • You pointed out that the holster is fairly loose. However, I think you should have also pointed out that it holds the gun in place quite firmly when you have it inside your waistband because your hip pushes against the leather backing on the holster.

Also, I think you should have mentioned the difference between the "combat cut" and the regular version of the holster. If you intend on drawing the gun quickly, with a good grip, I recommend the combat cut.

  • Talk about annoying and distracting. I applaud you that you have not used that bird for target practice!

I'm afraid my patience was tested just listening to it.

  • @koach777 , you joke away pal while 50,000,000 mexican invaders run around this country.

  • As always the Glock fanboys rip on anyone comparing anything to a Glock. Most cops who carry them as their duty gun like them fine but choose to carry other guns off duty because Glocks are not the end all be all. Also my comparison refers to the design only. Just because the trigger sucks has nothing to do with the design. It's a Glock copy like many others guns, period. If your too stuck on your Glock to realize that than you have the problem, not me.

  • at 2:04 you said "for the record I should have got the bullet out of there before I dropped the clip".

Always remove the magazine first, if you cycle the slide while there is a magazine inserted you're removing the round from the chamber, then loading a new round into the chamber, then removing the magazine. Either leaving you to have to remove a second round, or have a negligent discharge.

  • @AbqView Im glad somebody else caught that.

  • The hold on the gun gets tighter while wearing the crossbreed.

  • For the record you always remove the magazine before you empty the chamber. Rack the slide and empty the chamber with a loaded magazine and you just put another round in the chamber.

  • @USFZeus

My Friend you are sadly mistaken to say that a sigma is anything like a Glock. The primary difference: When you pull the trigger of a Glock, it reliably discharges. The same can't be said for a sigma. Im with Solidgun; If you trust your life to that, thats your choice. Ill stick with Glocks.

  • Your video helped me in my purchase of the Crossbreed. I have a crossbreed holster video showing me wearing it with a tucked golf shirt. Love for you to check it out and let me know what you think.

Search: Concealed Carry Golf Shirt with Crossbreed Holster

  • It is molded with a light-medium retention so that once inside your pants with the belt around it, it is not too tight. Your not supposed to carry it upside down in your hand and shake it when you go to Walmart... One thing I will point out to you since you are new to CCW is not to wear the Gun Logo shirts, hats, underwear, etc. No printing is really noticed by the average sheep, but once the shirt logo is read, it is more obvious you have something covered at 4 o'clock. You give away any t

  • Well that printed.

  • Looks like it would be very irritating with so much leather in contact with your body.

Also, why buy a holster that is not exactly mated with your firearm? Yes, I know there are compromise situations like 'Smart Carry' etc., but for an IWB holster that you want to hold your firearm securely, I would and do opt for one made for the purpose. Remember WHY you are ccw. It's not jewelery, it's a tool you may have to depend-on to save your life, and deserves a precise fit.

  • The Smith and Wesson t-shirt totally gives away the fact that you are concealing a pistol.

  • Maybe I am spoiled....but who buys a Sigma and buy a holster for it to carry?

Not sure I would trust my life to a crap trigger and $249 pistol, but it is nice of you to review the item.

Yeah....definitely lose the bird next time for any reviews.

  • @Solidgun

The Sigma is almost identical to a Glock so don't think it's crap. The trigger is made heavy for LEO to not accidentally shoot your dumb ass. Anyone with a brain can look up on online how to do a cheap, safe, easy trigger job to the gun to make it more "target" friendly. don't criticize when you don't know wtf you are talking about. Idiots with 3lb trigger guns under stress usually shoot themselves or have a negligent discharge which hurts all gun owners. Good review.

  • @USFZeus The SW Sigma is in no way close to "identical" to a Glock. Sure, Glock sued SW because SW ripped off their design concept. The trigger pull is likely not designed for LEO, I challenge you to find one agency that carries SW Sigma. By recommending that people do their own trigger job its apparent that you don't know WTF you're talking about. All subject matter recommend NOT altering the trigger.

  • Very well done! I have two 1911 Colt Defenders (.45 and 9mm). I also have the Sigma 9VE and I love it!

  • I so would have not bought a Crossbreed for a sigma...I would trade the Sigma for one though.

  • Well done, and I'd like to address some comments from below: I, myself, am a police officer and long-time CCW holder. I've handled firearms on a daily basis for several years and know that dropping the slide will NOT hurt the pistol, you ALWAYS remove the mag before unloading the chamber, and cats are much quieter than birds ;-p. Otherwise, good job. Ordered the SuperTuck for my Walther PPS in .40 yesterday, can't wait to wear it.

  • Holster is worth more than the pistol....This holster is best worn at the 3:30 to 4:30 position, especially if you have a little bit of love handles (puts the grip flat on your kidney area. One last thing, "Wearing a gun is not supposed to be comfortable, it's meant to be comforting!

  • What a rip off for shipping get a kholster 50bucks and includes shipping. Plus the guy who owns it is an asshole

  • Hah, nice shirt. Just picked my first gun, M&P 9c. :)

  • How do you like these compared to the kholster?

  • Wear it at 3:00 tubs

  • quaker parrots suck. get a pionus like me that dont make any noise

  • These holsters are great make sure to get combat cut. What's the point of carrying a gun you can't access quickly when you need it? Get combat cut!

  • guys watch out... if you hang upside down a lot your weapon will fall out of its holster.

  • @sbudno

As an adult, I no longer find myself hanging upside down at any time, work or play.

If I were to find myself in a situation where I would be hanging upside down, the retention of the crossbreed when on my person would not allow my carry pistol to just fall out.

buy it, try it. Then you will find out that a comment like yours would be unnecessary.

Friggin' fantastic CC holster. Worth the money, worth the wait (30 days), and spend a little extra on the horse-hide over cow-hide.

  • this thing is AWESOME! i have one for my HK USP .40 S&W

  • How about we do a taping in a room with more birds next time?

  • Man, I can see your name/mailing address all over the shipping package. Be carefull of that. Otherwise good video.

  • How am I supposed to take this guys review seriously when he doesn't even know that it's a magazine, not a clip and yes you do drop the mag and then clear the chamber? These are basics dude.

  • Very informative video but PLEASE get rid of the bird next time

  • You've slammed that slide forward 4 times. Why? Do you like the sound of it? That is so bad for a pistol.

  • Comment removed

  • i bet your glock could handle it....seriously enough with the glock crap

  • @craigstephenfoulon So I guess you never fire your gun. What do you think happens every time you fire it? He is not harming the gun.

  • @cit3uk2e4f

thanks, you saved me a post.

  • The pistol slams forward like that hundreds possibly even thousands(depending on how much he uses it) of times over and over again when fired. It's not going to hurt the gun. But it definitely is annoying that he does for no apparent reason.

  • @craigstephenfoulon How is it bad for the pistol to work the slide?

  • You need to adjust the height on your holster for that huge grip will print. Lower it more and keep it at the 3 o'clock position. This will prevent any print what so ever. And while your at it, put a round in that rotten bird!

  • You shouldn't slam the slide forward like that when your weapon is empty. It causes undo stress on the steel of the slide. The only time you should slam it forward like that is when you putting in your +1 round in the chamber. Plus its a Sigma and it'll probably fall apart. Get rid of that piece of shit and get a Glock.

  • I have had a Crossbreed holster for over a year for my Sig P239. It is my favorite holster by far.

  • just picked up a p239, was really contemplateing pickin up one of the crossbreads for it.

  • LOL first time I've seen a pet bird that isn't caged! Open Carry bird!!

  • I'd recommend getting the bird out of the room for your next video.

  • Thats the only SAFE way to unload the firearm.

If you try removing the round before removing the magazine, you'll just keep putting another round in

  • Thanks for posting. I had wondered about these holsters. Not pretty, but I can appreciate the concept.

  • is that the standard or combat cut?

  • Great info! I feel you left one thing out though......rather than starting out with the packaging you should have started this video by loading your pistol and shooting that FU(K!N BIRD !!!!!

  • @mkell21 Why kill a bird ? Sheesh, go hunting you muke

  • Im so glad you showed me the catalog and package!

  • How do you know what the best concealed carry holster is? You have not carried that long and this is you first gun. Might be good to you so far, but man atleast wear it for a while before you give a review. :)

  • The holster just seems huge. Anyway, If you truly want CC, don't wear shirts advertising it.

  • thanks for the info...i was thinking on getting one of these....i would imagine that when you actually put it on the retention would get alittle better.

  • just so you know at about 2 mins you say clear the chamber then the mag--- well its the opposite drop the mag then clear the chamber where have you been......

  • and its a magizine not a clip!

Good video though, great review of the crossbreed.

  • @DavidMascari1984

Cops usually do it like that just so you know. There is no right or wrong way really, although personally I drop the mag first as well.

  • if you pull the slide back without dropping the mag first youll just put another round in the chamber without realizing it then drop the mag and youll have one in the chamber he did it the right way in the vid then just wrongly corrected himself yes there is a right or wrong way. wtf r you people thinking

  • Like it or not, some people do it one day, which happens to be NOT the way you or I do it. Those people are actually taught to do it that way by law enforcement trainers. You know if you lock the slide back after you pull it back, a round won't load in the chamber "without realizing it". lol.

  • @smttysmth02gt

military must train more logically then but ur right

  • go comp-tac / mtac model is best. They have retention adjustment and that one does not. A belt will help hold the gun on your body close. I wear at 4 o clock on my hip IWB and driving isnt too bad.. plus you can move the holster anywhere around your belt.

  • lol not worth 90 dollars i will stick to my uncle mikes holster 12 dollars with tax

  • With conceal carry, it is worth it to spend a little extra on a quality holster and belt. What do you carry?

  • Comment removed

  • Dude I got rid of my m-tac iwb cuz the kydex was fucking up the slide man how is the cross breed ?

  • i have the mtac but dont want to f up my slide... what happened ?

  • How about a Desert Eagle 50?

  • I asked Mark from Crossbreed about it a few months ago. He said it's too big to conceal! Really? lol

  • Hmmmmmm...good point.

  • I would of liked to seen how you make different adjustments for different angle's of carry on that holster

  • The retention is adjustable; instructions are included with the holster. (Kydex can be reshaped when heated with a hairdryer).

  • Wearing a belt when you get a bigger set of pants will help out with the weapon retention. Try a Glock 26, I carry one as my CCW in a crossbreed and I love it. Good video.

  • I have that t-shirt holster thing. Its great if you have a ruger LCP or something similar but don't bother if you got a revolver or larger automatic, you end up looking like you have bitch tits like bob in Fight Club

  • Has anybody seen that T shirt w/built in holster you can buy for under the arm? Wondered if they were any good or not?

  • Yeah, I have one from 5.11 they are good shirts, kind of warm and itchy and the firearm will move around if you carry a small weapon like a LCP or a Kel-Tec P3AT. Galls has them but be aware that they ship from the manufacture and it takes awhile.

  • why do people think the slide stop is also a slide release? this holster is great a mark is a great business man and a people pleaser soak that puppy i some water and toss it outside for a day.

  • For most pistols, the slide stop is the release lever. Pistols like the Glock do not have a slide release. the gun was designed to have the slide pulled back and released under it's own spring power to chamber a round, the lever was only used as a slide stop. the 1911 for example does use the slide stop as a slide release. It really depends on how the gun is designed.

  • Personally for a larger side arm I like a Fobus and a vest (or jacket in cooler weather). No retention issues at all.

  • Fobus is pretty poor quality, though. They work great for range stuff but I would not use the for carry. Have you ever tried the comp-tac stuff?

  • what the fuck is that sound in the background? it sounds like someone is racking a pistol slide and pullin the trigger

  • Sounds like finches or a cockaiteal (sp)

  • Dude you need to do a little target practice on that F%!@ing BIRD!!

  • holsterpro also makes a great iwb holster full leather works very well at concealment in expensive bought mine for 35 on ebay.

  • Lmao.. There Someone in the background racking the slide of a gun and pulling the trigger. You can hear it.

  • The Desantis scorpion IWB holsters is an excellent holster as well, you should check it out

  • Thanks for the video but dude you have to demo the holster with a belt and shirt tucked in. I hope you do another video so people can see if retention is loose while wearing the holster. Thanks for the vid but do another one. Thanks.

  • I was considering getting a crossbreed holster after that video absolutely not! that level of retention is unacceptable and borderline negligent in my opinion. you would be hard pressed to run or even bend over without losing your gun with that thing. that thing should be able to be holstered up and shook vigorously and not even think about moving. all the leather and kydex hybrid holsters i gave seen are garbage, one or the other until they figure to out. no way!, zero retention not "medium"

  • I have a Supertuck that has excellent retention. You can make them tighter very easily at home, or you can send it back to Mark if you are unhappy and he'll refund or alter it for you.

  • true that. i dunno wtf "scoobydoo" is talking about. I have had mine for 8 months so far and its retention hasn't changed any. I can hang upside down will my sr9 in it and the gun ain't going nowhere. where's going? fuckin NOWHERE!

  • From what I've read in other forums, the retention is loose with the holster off the body. As soon as you are wearing the holster however, the force of your body against the leather increases the retention and you have NO problems. I have read numerous reviews to this holster online, and have not found ONE bad review. I will infact be ordering this holster as soon as I recieve my CCW(2 weeks)....
