I'm confused. Why are people talking about Hamilton and Button in a video involving Schumacher and the Mercedes pit-crew? Were Lewis and Jenson part of the crew?

@EgleThe12 The numbers go in the order of where the team finished the previous year, with the exception of numbers 1 and 2 which go to the champion and his teammate. Apologies if that's what you were trying to say all along.
I think you are correct though that the teams can ultimately allocate the numbers however they like.
@wks1978 Testing session. They only do about 2 or 3 tests every year before each season and Jerez, which used to host Grand Prix races, is now one of the test venues. Thats why the footage looks so relaxed and the pit crew weren't too upset with spending that time in the 'box'
shame this is rosberg and not shumi... Schumacher will only have the red radio piece on the top of his car, he is superstitious about even numbers so thats why he has to have the red one, it means that the number on hiss car will always be odd.

After the terrible weekend at Imola in 1994 and Jos Verstappen's big fire at Hockenheim in 1994, ('94 was the year when refuelling was re-instated), all the teams started wearing all the safety gear you see today.

@JZUSKASO No, all teams lift at the underside of the wing, look again, he was pushing into the car aswell as down, because the jack wasn't in the correct spot, it certainly wasn't under the wing, it was under the nose cone.

@XTeamELiTe - The Mercedes 2010 is a very bad car. The engineers at Mercedes were sleeping - Ross Brawn too. The have done a bad job - burned the budget for this season in the first months for nothing - Mercedes don't wanted to invest more money for significant modifications of the car. On the other side Schumacher was 3 years out - the cars have changed a lot. For example: Mansell couldn't handle the new cars in 1995 at his second comeback at McLaren. Let's see how Schumacher is doing in 2011.

well, mid race refueling is banned this year. there's no need to wear safety gear when changing tyres and at pit stop practices. its just a small warmup
See...I think my point has been proved. Now all of the drivers & team bosses have stated their opposition to 'no refueling' and it was the major topic post race. Everyone in F1 acknowledged that the race was dull & this is due to the new rules. A new rule change needs to be implemented quickly to avoid another crap race. All drivers had agreed that they were'nt pushing their hardest as they all needed to focus on maintaining the tyres for the whole race.
Im so cant wait for this weekend. But Im really dissapointed about NO refueling!! How does that make sense?? No refueling means heavier cars which mean slower cars. It also means no more drama in the pits with refueling rigs being ripped out & dragged, no dramatic fires, greatly minimising the possibilities of team errors which can turn a dull race into an exciting surprise!! Dumb FIA...whoever thought of that 1 should b buried out in the bahrain dessert. Go Michael or Lewis for world Champ!
Lol you know right that they have been fuelling only for the last 17 years right? They used to race without refuelling. It also means that there is more asked from the driver. The drivers who can drive clean and fast will win the race because they will preserve their tires. There will be more overtaking since there will be no refueling. This will only make it 100000X better.
Appreciate ur opinion, but i totally disagree about it making the racing better. Off course i know that theyve been refueling 4 many years. Even the drivers, commentators, teams, bosses etc have had a low opinion about not refueling. However either way..it'll still be a great season. Without refueling any slow teams will not have a chance 2 improve the pace/handling of a car by adjusting fuel loads, as theyd usually do, would be a quick fix solution 4 those smaller slow teams.

Feel bad for Button he should've stayed with Brawn, he is in the same boat as Hill back in 96 when he won the championship. Everyobdy beleived it was the williams chassis that made him win that championship not his driving. Hill tried to make a point by switching to arrows and think he can win a championship with them. The same thing with Button, Cmon it was that BGP01 that rocked everyone not Button, and now at Mclaren Hamilton will leave Button in the dust

@EBOMr That's not at ALL why Hill switched. Frank Williams, known for being cheap, wouldn't pay him what he asked. By the time they agreed to disagree, Hill was left with no where else to go except for Arrows - where, by luck, he almost one in Hungary.

it's a huge mistake because with the jack man falling over and schumacher leaving the pit so long after the work was done they literalylost 10 seconds from that which is maybe a 1/13th of a lap may not seem alot but wen drivers are often 0.235 seconds behind one another 10 full seconds is ALOT also they changed each wheel individuly.better learn to do 4 at a time for the races boys. they probably were taking it easy for testing but still not good enough williams were down to 3 seconds in total!

Lost about 3-4 seconds on one tyre...and in F1 1 second is already too much...can cost you the win or the podium...and the guy in front falling...they really need more practice, hope they get it right in Barhain! Come on Mercedes GP!!!!

@EBOMr That's not at ALL why Hill switched. Frank Williams, known for being cheap, wouldn't pay him what he asked. By the time they agreed to disagree, Hill was left with no where else to go except for Arrows - where, by luck, he almost one in Hungary.

@JONICRACHATLEITAO He was fired because Williams had already signed Frentzen and Villeneuve for 1997. It's true that he asked for a lot of money, but Frank Williams would have had to say no if he'd offered to drive for free! That said, we're speculating about contract negotiations that went on behind closed doors, so who knows what happened. Maybe Damon will watch this video and see our comments and come and tell us!

it's a huge mistake because with the jack man falling over and schumacher leaving the pit so long after the work was done they literalylost 10 seconds from that which is maybe a 1/13th of a lap may not seem alot but wen drivers are often 0.235 seconds behind one another 10 full seconds is ALOT also they changed each wheel individuly.better learn to do 4 at a time for the races boys. they probably were taking it easy for testing but still not good enough williams were down to 3 seconds in total!

WHERE DID U GET THIS lol? the blasted bbc didn't show any of the testing and there "live txt coverage" was shit! Updates about every half an hour with. "massa's gone faster thats it from us till lunchtime." this looks like proffesional footage is their more video's of the 2010 testing?

Lost about 3-4 seconds on one tyre...and in F1 1 second is already too much...can cost you the win or the podium...and the guy in front falling...they really need more practice, hope they get it right in Barhain! Come on Mercedes GP!!!!
