I can understand everything Gerald says except what he thinks about China. He said they were gonna take a big hit this year and China has actually catapulted to the second largest economy in the world in 2009. Also in 2009, China became the largest exporting nation in the world.
He says we're not going to war with China. What are they militarizing for? They have anti-ship missiles specifically designed to evade US missile defense shields and can destroy a US aircraft carrier in one strike.
China has been forming trade agreements with other countries; and in part that has to do with the fact that America is consuming less Chinese products. And part of that is because of tariffs placed on Chinese goods coming into America.
P.S., You can block Chinese products all you want to; but, China can also buy less and less of our debt in return for that! So that's kind of like shooting yourself in the foot! If they stop buying our debt, then, I do forcast a collapse of the dollar in 2010.
Collapse will happen now or later, take your pick, China will eventually stop lending regardless. The US can't exist on bankers and service industry forever. Free trade is a disaster.
My hope is not built upon the things of this world. And I have learned to be content with very little.
In fact, I don't even need this internet. So I will go on a fast from it next month, if God is willing, and see what happens.
As long as I have some clothes, and some food, and a shelter from the elements I'm fine. The most important thing is my Bible, and the Holy Spirit, and His understanding of what's coming. Hard times!

Us American born citizens need to return to producing/manufactoring/constructing this nation all over again from the bottom up. One great slogan: workers of the world unite! The time has come! Without the middle-class, world consumer, ass busting, tax-paying worker; everybody hurts. Change is a comin'!
