i use to use noting but torq to make beats too. now i can re-wire it into Ableton to get both worlds of creativity. keep making them beats to cutt up!
PLEASE HELP MEE !!! i have an old belt drive DJ-tech no USB turntable if a buy a m-audio torq conectiv can i use like a normal turntable to schratch ????
now accualy i can not use the dj-tech turntable to schratch samples from pc ...
could you please give the settings for torq so that you get the maximum scratch experience. I have stanton T-80's though? Does that make any difference?
cool ill try that. i just started not to long ago so im still learnin things along the way thanks for the tip... love your scratching by the way. real good stuff
hey i just got that same mixer and looks like yours works great... well when i hold pressure on the fader all the way to one of the sides it still puts out music but if im not touching it then usually it works... so if you get what im saying it makes scratching sound like a nightmare. cuz you can hear the back scratch im trying to cut out. have you had this problem???
You might have to lubricate your fader. Purchase a can of CAIG Faderlube F5 or Radioshack Tuner Lubricant (The former is available at Guitar Center, Sam Ash, etc.; the latter is at Radioshack of course). Both cost just $10 and will last you forever.
After spraying a few short bursts into the fader slot, slide the fader back and forth for a while and let it dry for a day afterwards.
If that doesn't work, you may need a replacement fader.

So you use Torq? What about Torq made you choose it over Serato ScratchLive?
