@righthooks never in my project studio where most of my videos take place. but whenever i'm in a studio with an SSL, theres usually plenty of great outboard gear. I'm inspired more by the external processor, like what;s it gonna do to my drums in an analog realm. I also like to sidechain and gate live drums. each situation is different.

In the late 80's and the 90s I worked for the powerhouse production team of Jam & Lewis, we did records for every major star for years, I started with Rick James as my mentor and inspiration in Buffalo, NY, been independent working all over the world since 1999, More videos to come.

i noticed you used both the akai mpk and the m audio axiom midi keyboards. which one did you prefer.

@aboveallelse666 , akai is much more fluid and like the old mpc series beat machines that I grew up with. but for tight spaces the maudio will do.
