I haven't even played this game and red alert 3 looks better than the new one(this one). Maybe I like the more SC feel if defending a base and building buildings. The mor RTS feel. This is just make units and attack. :(
I play C&C 3; Kane's wrath, and although it may not be like the classic C&C games, it still has decent gameplay... but this, I don't even see infantry! Where is the armory? The refinery? The power plant? How am I going to AYABTU if there is no base to begin with?

This game is no longer C&C. The whole point of C&C was that you were supposed to COMMAND your forces to CONQUER your enemies. Not capture some stupid node, or gather a certain ore! Some tutorial missions were like that, but the overall scheme was Commanding troops and Conquering your enemies and nations. EA has failed us.

Idk whether they're discontinuing the Tiberium Saga and are looking for fresh plot ideas but who cares. They just might make the next dx11 Generals game. We are yet to see a Dx11 RTS :D

In reality, lasers do more damage to light and medium armor and have moderate damage to heavy armor. And cannons have strong damage to light vehicles. Command & Conquer 4 has many unrealistic settings. Planned to buy this game, but after watching videos, I'll planned to buy other games.
@nbasuperstar23 I ALSO HATE THOSE RTS GAMES, except Warcraft that is, these unit-capped games are stupid and should have a unlimited unit cap, in warcraft my strategy is always cheat code activating and spam tier 1 units to their deaths. :( these days RTS just have unit caps in every game.
@heliosxproxima If you want summit realistic go play gta or go outside steal your dads car and start running people over and killing them after get out and rob there money if the police chase you just go to a spray and paint shop and change your color of the car but dont commit a crime or they will recognise you if you get arrested make sure you dont have wepeons on you or u will lose them :D
In the in-game, the weapons fired by the units are so weak that they take a lot of time to destroy other units. Lasers have strong effect against heavy armor but weak against medium armor. That was too unrealistic. EA have created a failed Command and Conquer 4 so far.

You obviously never played the console version. Was rated top 10 (been top 1, until got boosted over) in c&c kanes wrath on xbox. The single player campaign was doing ALRIGHT, but in multi, as soon as you pumped out a little bit more units, the game started lagging.. bad. There was this 1 map, that you couldn't even play without lag.. Same goes for c&c ra3 which was utter shit anyways.
It's a blessing they didn't port it. Xbox will NEVER be able to handle rts games.

In reality, lasers do more damage to light and medium armor and have moderate damage to heavy armor. And cannons have strong damage to light vehicles. Command & Conquer 4 has many unrealistic settings. Planned to buy this game, but after watching videos, I'll planned to buy other games.

@nbasuperstar23 I ALSO HATE THOSE RTS GAMES, except Warcraft that is, these unit-capped games are stupid and should have a unlimited unit cap, in warcraft my strategy is always cheat code activating and spam tier 1 units to their deaths. :( these days RTS just have unit caps in every game.

@heliosxproxima If you want summit realistic go play gta or go outside steal your dads car and start running people over and killing them after get out and rob there money if the police chase you just go to a spray and paint shop and change your color of the car but dont commit a crime or they will recognise you if you get arrested make sure you dont have wepeons on you or u will lose them :D

In the in-game, the weapons fired by the units are so weak that they take a lot of time to destroy other units. Lasers have strong effect against heavy armor but weak against medium armor. That was too unrealistic. EA have created a failed Command and Conquer 4 so far.

why do unit fights take so damn long to end...?
In Red Alert 3, they don't take this long...and in the other C&C games, they don't take several minutes of firing at each other to die.

@vykkheralden Yup, I've given up on RTS especially after C&C3 multiplayer. There's no skill except fast clicking and whoever spams first with the cheapest unit will always win.
Sucks. Company of Heroes is the only one that actually seems fair and balanced.

Wow, if the whole game is like this, then I am glad I missed out on it. I like the concept of being able to move buildings, but was expecting something more minimal and based in tactics than this. Guess I'll stick with the older games.
