I got one and I LOVE it. For anyone who wants to know, I've played my 3DS for hours at a time with the 3D and have had no problems with my vision or any pain or headaches. It actually bothers my eyes when I turn the 3D effect OFF after playing with it on for awhile.

Also, I had my first experience with StreetPass a few days ago at a Mardi Gras Parade. I didn't think I would care about the feature much but when I saw I had encountered 3 new Miis (2 were from out of state), it was REALLY cool!

Perfect for a lefty like me! It wasn't hard to get the stylus on my DS Lite. I took it out with my right hard, gave it to my left hand behind the system and I was good to go. I don't understand why some of you left handed people had to flip over you DS to get it. It took a second for me.

This is a very nice review of the system. It's non-biased, humorous, informative,...and colorful.

I was sort of skeptical of getting the 3DS because of the negative traits, such as the horrible battery life, and what not. In the end, kind of like you said, none of the negative traits are really a good reason to not buy one. I do have a 3DS now, and I love it!

As for the stylus placement, it is perfect for a lefty like me. I've upgraded from the original DS where the stylus was on the top right.

also i dont see why people are complaing about the battery life. i get a good 8-10 hours out of it deoending if i have 3D on or not

@kennyliftw @Blunty3000 For you kenny I can say that the Land R buttons don't wear out I have had mne since release and they still work fine For blunty Some games on the DS required a lot of L/R Mashing such as MarioKart or intensive L/R use such as Pokémon Mystery Dungeon On a side note what is your favorite Ambassador game ?

it may well be some think 3D is not so fat on it, but then it's good that so many other cool things in 3ds, it's just a 3D function that is not something to play with all the time.

the 3D adds to the resolution, making it appear more lifelike. looking at the top screen and comparing it to the 2D touch screen you get an idea of what i mean. just wish the battery was better.

@troy1002x the battery is stronger that the older models,its actually the strongest they've ever used. 3DS is just a power sucker due to powering 2 screens, note the top one has 3 layers <- that takes some juice.

I'm no Nintendo fan, but Gameboy Advance is my first system, so I decided that I wanted to play Pokemon Heart Gold and I bought this system to play it with. THIS IS A GOOD SYSTEM! The Netflix capability is excellent, the graphics are pretty sharp (I don't care for the 3D, but it has the power of a N64), and the games are compatable with regular DS games.

7:18 You're right and nobody's gonna argue that about the 3DS battery. However, the battery is quite strong, at 1300 mAh it's 50% stronger than the dsi battery. The DSi also has about a 3-4 hour battery life on full brightness but everyone chooses to downplay this for some reason. The PSP 3000 only does a little better at a little over 4 hours.

The issue is that the 3DS screen needs to not only display 2 images but also must have an even brighter screen because of the 3D.
