Ohhh my God... How time flies. This song has taken me somany years behind. I was too young then but i remember people dancing their lives out in bars at Chapel Obili in Yaounde. Its true that artists never die
Legend, History and Tradition says the Bassa Nation migrated from the Nile valley into west Africa and settled in places like Liberia, Togo, Nigeria and Cameroon.
the Bassa from Cameroon kept this Ancient dance while the Bassa from Liberia kept their writing system known as the Bassa or Vah script still used today in Liberia.
Now other Bassa people from different countries are adopting each others traditions, cultures and languages.
j'adore ce son ! et je pense que tt le peuple bassa est fière de ce qu'on fait nos pères et grand pères ..merci à tt les Mbombock , à UM Nyobè et tout le reste ! RIP
Pure classic, thanks for posting this gem of a song. Samson is so cool, very understated in his dress sense, singing and dancing. He lets the music do the talking. Awesome!
