That is so adorable, but I'm sad now...about a week and a half ago i bought this adorable little itty bitty 6 month puppy from a lady who lives nerby us and i fell in love with it but the lady was too selfish to inform us that her pups were infected with the Parvo virus and when i took the puppy in to get her first set of vaccinations they gave her a set that included but since she already had it brought it out so we left her at the vet's for treatment but after a couple of days she passed away

i get y people are upset about the puppy mill thing, but y don't you want to adopt one from a pet store anyway? I mean, the poor pooch has had enough hard times, y can't you give it a good home, no instead you would rather pick a dog with an already good home and leave that poor dog out there :( I don't care where they come from I just love dogs!!!

So, should dogs in pet-stores be abandoned because of idiots that mistreat animals? No. It depends on where the stores buy their animals from, sometimes they are from breeders.

another thing is they sell for over $1000 when they usually have medical conditions because they are sometimes breeding brother and sister or just breeding other sick old dogs.

@kitlkat99 inbreeding is NOT a characteristic of puppy mills. common misconception. the term 'puppy mill' refers to the breeding facility being below USDA standards, not the practices. and every puppy mill does not breed sick dogs. some USDA standardized breeders breed sick dogs. many of puppies in the newspaper are from people breeding in their homes, which can in several instances, by definition, be a puppy mill. yet people would rather perchase there than in a pet store. just FYI.
