  • I thought the Argo ran on Ethyl, lol.

  • Why were the Gamilons not blue-skinned in these early episodes?

  • can you imagine the bill for this???

  • You can tell this is from the 70's. I just dig the the background tunes. LOL, sweet.

  • To all the people who are saying the animated Star Trek did it first.... Nope. The original Japanese version of Star Blazers aired the same year as the animated ST came out. 1973. Now, as for the mentioned articles... ok, you got me there. But since TNG was a bit rife with Yamato/Star Blazers jokes... let's call it a draw.

  • The holo idea was first on the animated Star Trek in 1973!

  • 8:05 ... the "holography room"

Now I know where Star Trek the next generation got their Holodeck idea ;-) !

  • 4:00 disco cop music..LOL.

  • I find it interesting that the families of the Star Force crew act like its safer to stay on Earth when they face a slow death by radiation poisoning.

  • this show was great, watched it religiously when i was a kiddo...love the music. thanks for uploading these

  • The Star Force has a cool salute.I like how they do it over the chest instead of above the brow like a modern military salute. I just think thats cool.

  • @cliphound80 Seig Heil!.

  • @cliphound80 Being a Marine, for a fraction of a second that comment was almost offensive to me. LOL

  • It's odd, I always call the characters by their English names, but I always refer to the ship as "Yamato"

  • Star Blazers takes me back to my youth. I'm still into this japanese anime. Love the 70's background tunes.

  • It has been a long time since I've seen this show. So thats where Star Trek TNG ripped off the holodeck and replicators from.

  • true most of today shows took alot of things the basics of star trek

  • holodecks were used in 1987 STTNG. This show was created in 1973-74. So who ripped off who? As I recall there was no holodecks in the original ST.

  • @the60sKid

actually ST did have the holodeck. It was shown in the animated ST and Roddenberry mentioned it in articles during 1968 and 69. The holodeck is definately ST.

  • Best series, THANK YOU for putting these up <3333

  • Brings me back to a good time in my life when I was a kid.

  • Best. Series. Ever.

  • If not THE best anime series ever made.

  • thanks for uploading these episodes. great memories from a favourite show of mine as a kid.
