wow, awesome!!! never saw clouds forming like this before!! :)
and I did the same with a digital camera but the sun caused as aberration in the recorded video.... There's a vertical pink line appearing whenever the sun hits the lens directly. Do you know a way to avoid this?
I've had that happen - the only way to avoid it is to keep the direct sun out of the lens. Note that in my video, the sun is *just* above the top edge of the frame, so that the rays and glow from it enter the scene, but the sun itself. =)
Yeah I noticed that. But I thought you had a much better camera than me, so it worked out that way. After all, your video looks so ..... classy, full quality :)
You might be surprised how easy this can be - all you really need is a digital still camera that can take a picture every few seconds. Some cameras you can just hold down the shutter and it will shoot until the memory is full (or the battery runs out), while others you just have to press the shutter button yourself (on a tripod without moving the camera, of course). Thanks for watching! :-)
cool..

I will try keep the sun out and try again with a polarizing filter when I get a chance, mine gets the glare quite easily too. These are great!
