lol, I don't think it's supposed to be entertaining, just educational. Educational films do what they are supposed to and usually fail if they try to add anything else. So not really sure what you were expecting, lol.

When pinning, I lay the material out flat, place a wide plastic ruler between the front and back as a pin guard. It's easier, for me, to pin while the material is flat.
