@ValantNovalight Yes, that's a normal sound when the servos are under high load. These are anaolg servos, digital servos make even more/worse sound (especially the 5990's).
They are simple amazing the fabrication looks to be very skilled and I would love to have a workshop like that it's as amazing as the robots !! Good work !
@Gniddelrulez Power switches are for the BB2 logic voltage, SSC32 logic voltage and servo voltage. Only two switches VL and VS can be used, I just wanted to separate the BB2 and SSC32 power. Lynxmotion has sponsored all parts (servos + brackets).. ;)
Of course the a-pod is popular. It's an excellent design. I think you should build another and sell them. If you can program them simply so they run around like 'pets' and you could make it so they take breaks and self-recharge at different points around the house in order to deal w/ the heat and batter issues.
Zenta, Pretty cool to see a detailed view of your workshop! Great to see a long demo including most of your bots and even a demo of your newest project! Great work as always!! Thanks for noticing my name, I always enjoy working with yah.
Keep up the awesome work! You inspire a lot of us!
amazing. I plan on starting classes this fall for robotics. I have always been fascinated by robots. After I start learning more about them I would like to try to build a robot like the apod, only i would like to try to make it more like a scorpion.
the work you do is pretty awesome. I look forward to seeing what else you come up with.
@psyquack Takk for kommentar! Ikke som jeg vet, men jeg kommer til å ha en stand på en modell og hobbymesse på Voll (i Rogaland) den 30. og 31. oktober.
Nice demo, always fun to see workshops and stuff behind the scenes! :-) Have you done any attempts with logic to regain balance when pushed for example?
English: Wow, thats a fast reply. Thanks! But I hope the quality gets better after youtube ends the video processing. The result gave better image quality on my PC though. I'm using a Logictech 9000 webcam.
is there more info about the added pots, on the joysticks?

I'm hearing a lot of hum from your servos around 5:23 . Is that normal?

is the intelligence for inverse kinematics running on the remote control, or is it running on the robot?

@roidroid All calculations are done by the onboard (on the robot) mcu.

@ZentaOlbaid I love your videos, and I can't wait to see more of the "bipad"!
You're really great at making the transitions between the movements looking natural, so I think you can do some great work with the bipad :)
Keep up the good work!
