go to kitfox firewall back for the clasic 4 is 15999.00 you build and the rotax 912 4500.00 or so. but you can buy used one for way less i saw one with the engine in new york for 11000.00 almost put togeather. and one with 100 hours left on the engine for 13000.00 so they are out there.

hey, im looking into ultralights but a decked out challenger/ excalibur is near the same as a stol 701. i cant find any prices on the kitfox, do you know what it runs for?

Challengers and Z 701 are fine...but a KF will cruise a lot faster. Mine is over 100 mph...on anphib floats. Local flying at  65-85 mph is fine, but it sucks if you want to go somewhere. Especially if you flying with others and they are of the 100 mph variety.
