No, it's in the original too. The only thing is that it only appears on Legendary difficulty.

It depends. Is this without the buffs? Is the Onslaught active at all? If this is the maximum it can get at that lvl then yeah, it is kinda low.

If you feel you're too underlevelled, you can always go to previous areas and do some level farming.

Good idea. At early stages the best artifacts I'd advise are Soul Shiver and Shroud of Eternal Night. Soul Shiver will be helpful for quite a long time too.

With Hydra I knew what I was getting myself into as I've heard of its "reputation". However one that did give me a shocking surprise similar to the one you described above was the Manticore. That thing killed me within 5 seconds of me seeing it, and it was by its lightning breath.

I have a lvl 56 Conqueror with about 6300hp, 1300dps, 24%heal, 1800 armor, and about 1300 defensive ability, but -100% poison resistance. That atack where it uses all heads to hit kills me instantly!!! I think i died about 20 times

You should just change some gear around for this fight and then change it back when you kill it.

I took Santa's Hat. It gave me +110% poison res + some jewelry

Ive putted some points in nightmare, but hydra only attacks me and never the nightmare. How can you let it attack the nightmare? I can tank him btw, so i only kosts me a few potions

You have to make sure that Hydra sees the Nightmare first, or I think alternatively you can try running away some distance from it after it saw you, leaving Nightmare behind (it should get attracted to Nightmare suddenly), but I am not sure about that second way.

and finally how come you have so low armor?

1280 and mine on act 1 legend was like over 2200 with a epic relic!

Still though, it can't be that high. Max amounts of each armor is only around 400, so if you count head, torso, arms and legs, then it's max 1600. Perhaps with a relic a bit higher. How did you get 2200?

on my epic harusepex lvl 50 dps 1584 but for your BM is nice cuz your first character right ? , and yes udjat of hours gives me about 30% armor protection?plus torso 16% armor protection!!

Yeah, BM is my first. But also note that with Onslaught the DPS increases. So it's actually a fair bit higher than is displayed.

Because Core Dweller is resistant to fire (obviously), and to poison. Both of those Hydra breathes. Nightmare also has great resistances.

Wyrmskin harness, Priam's gate, Prometheus' gift, Athena's Battle greaves, Soul Shiver, Blessing of the Gods, Alceoneus' mask (Gigantes MI). I think all the other stuff is just greens. This is my battlemage. I am sure you asked me about his gear somewhere before.

hydra i fucking hard you need elemental resistance max so as poison,but its worth farming, 3 farms(me)=4 legendary items hahha

Hmm, if your fire and poison resists are low then Hydra is very hard. If not then Hydra would be easy. I'd say Legendary Hades might be about just as hard as Hydra, but normal and epic Hades are pretty easy.

I think the blue item is Charon's Funeral Wrappings. Strange thing. I dropped another pair of those today on legendary Minoan labyrinth. They are too crap for legendary. They're supposed to drop on epic, or normal even!

Ah, yes, I was pretty sure you'd use ur Battlemage on this one. Either the Battlemage, the Templar or the Juggernaut, but seeing how the BM is the highest level, I though it would be him. Another good boss fight, as expected. It's also cool how you've put it up in two different ways. Well, I'll be looking forward to your next, then. I hope it comes quicker than this one, which took a week from ur previous last.
