  • bos you are daf hehheh

  • I like it. I thought it was going to be bad but I am surprised Makes me want to watch LOTR marathon :3,

  • Excellent scenery and shots. Good acting. The FX is also very good. This film was recommended by my screen writing guild to see how a low budget and independent film can be of excellent quality. I am impressed.

  • How come Uwe Bowle movies look so crappy and they have at least 10 times the budget of this one?

  • Not a pretty arwen. 

  • This is really great. The scenery looks amazing. At first I thought you were using bits of LOTR movies. Gollum was brilliant.

  • Why can't I hear them talking?

  • thank you who upload this movies

  • wtf this movie(at least fro me) lasts 39 minutes...can someone help me....

  • @DeltaLegends i don´t know, i also see that it says 39 min

  • @DeltaLegends yup is a 39 min lenght micro movie haha

  • Amazing!

  • Thx for the upload!

  • 1650 people were scared of your movie quality nazgul

  • theres alot of credits

  • This was great. Thank you so much.

  • Fantastic!!! i never even knew that this existed!! Lol.. and the other one ,that Born of Hope, well done and wow! what a treasure of a find!!

  • Nice job with the characters very similar to the ones in the actually movie

  • I just don't have the words Good Job, Will done, you know all the things that i can come up with, about saying how good this is. I want more :D

  • Lord Of The Ring :D :D

  • Lord Of The Ring

  • esta super me encanto la calidad.. mil gracias...espero y disfrutemos cada dia mas y mas..

  • Very impressive considering the £3000 budget. Acting is great, fight scenes are nicely done, and the orcs look fantastic, I'll be sure to recommend this to all of my friends who are fans of LOTR.

  • Well made fan film. see also a new fantasy film trailer 'Crystal of the Gods' on utube excellent looking film worth a look

  • LOVE IT <333333

  • Nice

  • Its really good I just wish my computer didnt suck **** lol

  • This movie looked to much like Lord Of The Ring, it is maybe a copyright (don't know yet) but it will now be removed anyway do to SOPA/PIPA.

And at the same time because this video is maybe braking a copyright we also will take down Youtube.com because it enabled this video to be shown.

    Have a good day.

  • @ZtriDer Yeah. SOPA/PIPA weren't passed. Now what you gonna troll about. Internets still free and not only does he have the right to post this freely, I have the right to say "Shut the fuck up". Nice try, though.

  • @luis6079 Thanks. Did find out that it did not pass a few hours later. And thank god for that. :)

  • @ZtriDer its nonprofit fart brain

  • Comment removed

  • I liked it alot to..it grabbed me and let my imagination wonder a bit in the other dreary world of BiPolar. Thanks so much for such a wonderful well done Houzaaaaaa!

  • Incrdible, to be part of such a ing. Oh internet you are. <3

  • i like

  • great work :) shoulda disabled comments though. Who's with me? say we go to all the troll's houses, bitch slap them, destroy their PC and watch them cry about it to their mommy lol. Also, is it just me or does Aragorn look just a little like Luke Skywalker? hehe must just be the eyes :)

  • very great movie

  • wow..great work. scenery was incredible and blew my mind

  • great show.

    good work

  • is this actually the chracters from LOTR

  • Haha

  • Impressive work! Screw the idea of LOTR - or any other movie in that sense - having just the one right actor-set. This interpretation is good and I like it. The scenery is especially pleasing to the eye. How'd you get such variety in landscapes and figures? Oh and good work on the clothing. Immersive, I'd say. Well done.

  • its good i suppose i stil wud rather the originals i no dis was low budget but i stil rather the originals and i luv lotr(the originals) so much its hard to watch dis 1 wi different actors

  • how... how in the name of god did this wn awards???!

  • this film is a waist of time! its gaaay and stupid and more like a parody !!

  • @brandrider12 Don't like it, just go away.

  • @brandrider12 Well, thank God it's not an ankle or elbow of time--just a waist!

  • @grossepointemichigan Ahhahaa, Well played sir :D

  • @grossepointemichigan u think he will understand ur comments, i dont think so..lol

  • @brandrider12 go troll somewhere else. I'll be you've never seen or read Lord of the Rings anyhow.

  • it took 2 yrs for 30min of gay!

  • @grandmasterdavid And it took a few seconds for you to post your comment and reveal yourself as an ignorant asshole.

  • Is this a "made in china" cheap replica of the original. by the way side actors, willing to get on any set possible to flaunt their mediocre skills?

  • @LaPersonaNonGrata Fuck off. You would never be able to produce any film near this quality.

  • zomg, arwen is so much hotter in this one then in the actual movies

  • and of course, aragorn stabs the weird neck grouth thingy on the orc

  • we promise to be veeery nice. XD

then your staying in the sack. lololol

  • Nice job! As a long time LOTR fan I love almost anything about it. Don't bother with the critics, you did a good job. I liked it. Makes me even more anxious for The Hobbit to come out next Christmas.

  • Im impressed how you captured the essence.. different actors but the roles were clear.

  • The writing isn't that great. The travelling scenes are also poorly put together.

  • I still love Lord of the Rings even after watching it countless times

  • well done. make more

  • i like

  • nice!

  • not bad!

    yay, do more!

  • nt badddddddddd

  • i love it ! for such a short movie it was real good !

  • And also... Aragorn's actor wasn't basass enough :P

  • @FrozenAssaultFIN i agree and hada pot thought. maybe it because he was alot younger

  • One question.. How did Gollum get out of that jail?

  • @FrozenAssaultFIN You can find the anser in the first book of Lotr:the fellowship.

Gollum was gaurded bij elfs but he escaped during a ork attack.

  • @deijzerenhertog Oh. Yeah, I haven't read the books, only The Hobbit, but I have always wanted to read them, never really remembered :D I will, someday, I will...

  • @FrozenAssaultFIN now and again he would be alowed to walk in the woods under gard but they got attacked by orkes and he slipes away

  • that ugly girl fuked it for me... sorry!

  • Aragorn really looks like the aragorn in the real movies

  • This one is really good.

  • that was really good movie

  • that was not bad

  • that was really well done!

  • Awesome!!!

  • U Think That This Would Be filmed in New Zeland Like The Original Three

  • Frodo. Auto correct. Making people look like asses since 2006?

  • @nahnahnahknor Best chuckle of the day!

  • Eastwing is right. Deodorant had the ring for something like 20 something years after Bilbo left and during this time Gandalf is out searching for answers. Not a blunder as all. The movies just make it seem like Frodo leaves right away on his journey. Well done little movie.

  • Just great, true fans i guess :)

  • Arwen's nose? o.O

  • @jondavisthegreat She is Jewish man. Give her a break.

  • @KaiserFrederickII and you're racist?

  • @gabycahen How did you come to that? I never said anything racist.

  • awesome work dudes, thank you

  • Very good piece of filmmaking. I like "Born of Hope" a little better for the story. And I think some of the shots here could have been done without CGI (eg the ring falling through the caves). A pity the picture quality gets kinda flimsy in the forest. Still, I like this short film very much and apprecate the effort. Wonderful choice of actors, btw. This gandalf is just awesome.

  • Great job!! Anyone who read the book would appreciate this movie & you guys did it on a lot smaller budget than New Line Cinema did. Great piece of cinema.

  • nice master piece. thumbs up

  • @theremixphilly The 'something else' you are thinking of is that Gandalf know that it is the One Ring until after he puts it in the fireplace just before Bilbo's 111th birthday party. So why are they all talking like they know it is the One Ring?

To answer the first question of about Frodo: Gandalf and Bilbo have met and talked many times over the many decades since Bilbo returned home with the ring. Among there plans was who should inherit all of Bilbo's various treasures including the ring.

  • @Gandalf401TBM I thought Gandalf MADE Bilbo give up the ring to him. he didn't actually give it to Frodo-- he dropped it on the floor and left. I am going by the movies-- this is a movie itself after all. Also- in this movie it seemed implied that they DID know it was the one ring. in the Jackson movie Gandalf had to put it in the fire to know. This movie how they are talking it seems known.

  • @theremixphilly You are right for the most part. Gandalf had suspicions that the ring was the one ring but no hard proof of it until later in the fellowship of the ring. So in truth only Gandalf should have had an idea

  • @graveson0 yes--- I thought it strange that he would say it out loud to him. Thanks for confirming graveson0 :) I knew I wasn't crazy-- LOL!

  • Why would Gandalf (at this point in the story) that Frodo must be protected at all cost? Bilbo has the ring not Frodo. Frodo has not been given the ring or any of that shit yet. There was something else too but it's late and I"m tired. but if you could explain this to me without saying somethnig like Gandalf can see the future, cause if that was the case he would have been able to stop all of this himself.

  • @theremixphilly LOL, odd that they got so far into production and made such a blunder, I find it hard to believe no one noticed it during proof-reading, filming, or editing--and yet.......

  • @theremixphilly In the book, Frodo had the ring for years.

  • I used to hunt for Gollum until I took an arrow to the knee.

  • very good. I thought it was going to be lame with bad acting but i was wrong. It is very well done considering budget and what not. I'm impressed.

  • i need captions - cant hear

  • good

  • You should watch The Room, great movie!

  • u all r bullers

  • An excellent effort!!! Very faithful to the original story, right from the start of Aragorn's quest for the rumored 'ghost' to Gollum's imprisonment in Mirkwood. Kudos!!

  • great vedio

  • Great stunts.

  • Gollum's wretched murmurings are funny and very unique. I love Webster. Thanks to the great makers. great movie.

  • well , i suppose, and then no one was paid out right to do this. I will not trash it for what it is.

  • Oh God! His eyes! The eyeses, precious!

  • I think this movie is a good one however I have found that the music is louder than the spoken words which tends to make it hard to hear, even with my speakers turned up I am still having a time hearing what is being said and I Have to be on my guard when the music kicks in cause then I am getting blasted out of my living room from the music and some of the sound effects. :(

  • I did not like the guy that played Ghandalf...his hair was to messed up...like he just got out of bed. The make-up on the orcs was decent. The fighting was good. A couple of Orcs..the appliances were clearly visible. In all...not bad.

  • I was entertained for a half hour. But I thought in the movie he said that he couldn't find him. Not that they found him and locked him in rivendale

  • @CGONZO3580 In the books Gandalf tells the tale of the hunt for gollum at the Council of Elrond.

  • it's acceptable for the given effort and circumstances. I don't think I'd go to make any bold claims of it, but it is acceptable.

  • The *spoiler* fight at minute 23 looks really cool

  • i dont like it story doesnt add up and action is a bit dulled but some actors look good in the role they play

  • Lol nvm on that last comment I hadnt started watching it when I commented

  • This is a prequel so maybe the name strider came along a little later

  • I thought this was very well done. Enjoyed it fully from start to finnish.Thought the acting was extremely well done. Thank you all who took part in the making of this film. Thank you for posting it. John

  • @Gildur01 He was chosen, I think, because he looks a fair bit like Viggo Mortensen. He is as good an Aragorn as Viggo was.

  • Can we stop complaining about plot holes and judge it on the strength of the performance?

  • Very good want MORE!!!!!!

  • Well done!

  • arrgone look so freaking skiny (well the guy playing him)

  • Wonderful! You had be captivated from begin to end. the feeling and flow are just like the PJ LOTR trilogy.

  • This was well done. Where was this filmed?

  • In the actual movie Aragorn doesn't capture Gollum. Sauron's orcs do otherwise the nazgul wouldn't know about Baggins.

  • @michael69167 This fan-film transpires during the film, in a sense. If I recall correctly, there are seventeen years (in the book) between the time that Bilbo leaves the Shire and when Gandalf returns to speak with Frodo about the ring. During that time, these events occurred.

  • I enjoyed the film, but one small point bothered me. According to Tolkien, Aragorn would not have introduced himself as Strider. That was the name given him by the folk in Bree to Aragorn's disdain. More likely he would have introduced himself as Aragorn son of Arathorn, especially to another Dunedain Ranger.

  • @dalhuset : In the books Aragorn didn't reveal his true identity to just anyone, that was more on a need to know basis. He would introduce himself in this fashion; I'm a ranger, some call me Strider.

  • Not Bad :)

  • this was great. SyFy channel rip off???? only some1 who has seen the movies, but never read the books would say something so ignorant. peter jackson had all that money, and although the movie is real good i really wish he had stuck to the story and not added all the indiana jones crap.

  • LOL AT ARWEN ROFL

  • it said it was non profit... this means... some nerds made this! nerds are dumb! footbal is cool! anal sex with ma gf is fun! i'm the man! i drive a mustang! penis in my mouth! i mean... oops

  • @rapetacular lol

  • @rapetacular lie some more

  • This was like a SyFy channel rip off of Lord of the Rings!!! LOL

  • this was a really good bit for a non profit group and all and i really am not trying to hate here but there seems to be a few holes on this that i dont understand. Gandolf did tell frodo he searched high and low but he also said that mordor got to him first before he could . i thought Gollum was picked up by mordor cause he was wondering the land looking for the ring. This really isnt a bad film at all but i feel like it contradics what the lord of the ring movies are portraying.

  • This film is awesome, I'm a Tolkien and Peter Jackson fan and cannot believe that you guys managed to produce a film of this standard for no profit... very unusual and impressive and about as true to them as you could get. I'm sure you're gonna go far.

    Greatest respect to you...

  • I'm pretty sure this is the third time I've watched this. It gets better every time. Hats off to you folks!

  • A good film, I hope he does some more

  • @Eomer27798

    Lets see you do better?

  • Well done! Brilliant. I'm not a fan of LOTR and watched this purely to see how it was executed. Very impressed.

  • Well, Hello there! I am someone from Hollywood, and i LOVE this movie, i looking for a full movie of LOTR, can someone give me the link of that? Thank you very mutch! So i can tell it to my friends, they are fan to, Greets ....!

  • i like this movie, i want more! Longer!

  • amazing work chris, looks like a multi million dollar film! fantastic!

    jefrus.co.uk - jef

  • Very very good for an indie. I really enjoyed it, however I must say, that if I woke up next to that girl that played Arwen I would probably punched her first and then start running scared ;D Seriously, I really dont mean to be rude or anything but cmon guys, Arwen is supposed to be hottest elf in Middle-Earth.

  • jeez,I went into this not expecting much, glad to say I was uber impressed, helluva show for an independant, better than alot of big name studio flicks..def making me itch for the Hobbit in dec :D

  • ya same here very nice

  • very very cool, I agree, you guys should get the nod by being invited to join the hobbit cast, all of you. thats a an awesome effort by all to p[ay homage to peter jackson's epic

  • im gonna watch this then im gonna watch the fellowship of the ring :)

  • I'm a thirteen year-old boy who wishes to be a director when I get older. If you wanna be an actor, extra, any stage help, or just a supplier of props, and live in central indiana, pm me please, I have a lot of ideas

  • Nice Movie

  • *salutes* Very very good, and I honestly can't believe anyone would thumbs down it.

  • Great film! if you guys haven't been offered jobs on The Hobbit there's no justice;)

  • Thanks for the Film. Nice scenes. Better than any free movie I've ever made.

Maybe for fun you could take the scene of Tom Cruise jumping out of the Dubai Tower and make Cruise land in the spaceship from "Life of Brian"?

    Thanks again for the film.

  • Awesome dude !!

  • by far the best independent film i've seen......take a bow

  • ungly face

  • First of all I have to say this is absolutely amazing. I've been watching quite a lot of low budget independent films lately, and this is by far the best one yet. With that aside, I'm pretty sure the orc around 15:00 is Batman.

  • not to mention choreography, catering, cameras, sound, and of course, costume and prosthetics

  • amazing. i dont htink people know how hard it is to make a movie of this scale, al the hundred hours of clips to be reviewed, picked, cut, color corrected, location scouting, there must have been so much work that went into this work

  • What an awesome piece of work! Who could have dreamed that the internet would spawn awesome fan-based works like this? Bravo!

  • Didnt they tell this in the book series? In fellowship during the councel or am i tripping?

  • Omg ! I am so glad this movie was made , and hope more stories of this epic are told ... Thank You ! Totally loved it ! 10/10 : ) ........... You know I'm watching it again , right ?

  • The hunt for @peanutgirl4ever's comment begins now...

  • this is just amazing i love it!!! someone should do a movie for the REAL Scouring of the Shire....just saying

  • Great attempt to full the gaps of LOTR. Great production also, looking at the means that they had.

But the scene where Aragorn first sticks his sword into the orks neck and then half decapitate him is just too gross for words... but fake as hell.

For me as a die hard LOTR fan its hard to look at a film like this where all the actors are different - not to say mediocre compared to the originall actors. But still, a very nice job!

  • ohhhh nice movie ever!!!!!

  • Why the f*** is smeagol voldemort

  • For a fan-made film, for what they had to work with, this is fucking amazing. For anyone who doesn't think so, you all are virgins.

  • Sorry, no eloquent words... but BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO,...ANCHOR!!!!

  • @J74Zamira anchor? i think the word you're looking for is encore...

  • that was so funy

  • Hats off to the team!! Amazing how you guys were able to capture the main movie look and feel. And the music simply awesome! Great job!!
