@Horrorlord1 Probably you can't. Final Cut Pro would do it, though. I use Adobe After effects CS4

Hi! i have a question. is layering like the one you did there a standard feature in editing software? I have sony vegas platinum and i'd do so much with that effect and other layering effects if that was possible but i'm wondering if i should look out for a certain software or if most have this feature.

@FuskaTv Yes, pretty much every editing application has the facility to build up layers of video. What you want to look out for though is the Masking facility, which allows you to choose a portion of a layer to become transparent and show the layer underneath, It is also good if the mask can be 'feathered' ie given a soft edge, which will help the layers blend together. If Sony Vegas Platinum doesn't do this then it should be called Sony Vegas Tin.
