You claim that they do not speak French well enough to understand what he is saying, but his completely erroneous pronunciation makes it utterly impossible to comprehend almost a single words without the subtitles. It tells nothing about their ability to communicate in French.
@karjalankannas "Je tcherche une femme pour me marier" is quite intelligible when you're fluent in Québec's national language, like McGill"s customers should be. If they were fluent in French, they would have made out more of Taschereau's speech --although maybe not all of it, I grant that to you.
