There should only be one prop shroud. Its made from resin and glass.
You could use Fiberglass or plastic. I have seen people use the plastic from a laundry basket rim to rebuild theirs. This is clever, works great (even better than stock), And is Cheap!!!
Please go to the Hobby King forum to see pics of it assembled with a foil attached. Once there find me and I will guide you. Best,
Hi i was wondering if you could please help me. Once you receive a new parafoil from hk i understand that you have to do what you show in the video. what i don't understand is: the 2 loose lines that is not attached to the rings, are they used for steering or for landing. Please would you be so kind to let me know. Thank you
The two lines you speak of are called "Brake Lines".
They are used for steering and will each get attached to their own servo. When one side is pulled the foil will turn to that side, and visa versa. When both get pulled together (at the same time) the foil will "Flair" (Stall/loose altitude).
Please visit the paraglider forum at Hobby King for more info and tons of vids and pics.
Thanks for posting, can I ask you what's the optimal distance to be kept between the two sets of risers on the trike? I'm finishing the assembly of it, to be flown with the same wing but not sure about this parameter. Increasing the distance flatters the wing, decreasing it increases the curvature but when they designed it they must have set a specific distance, they could have bothered saying it on the package :-(
Hi man, thanks for your video, i just want to say you that i think is necesary to make clear which band you use at the first moment, because i don´t now if you leave the band D or band A, to start the adjustement, thank you.
Hello , I've had the foil for ages an just bought the gondola you designed.
it the anywhere that shows how to set the gondola up?
I have it assembled but not sure how to connect the foil.
Also, mine came with one of the flexible prop surrounds cracked/broken before I unpacked it, can you recommend something to make a new one out of?

Hi. I just bought this parafoil and I want to make these changes.
The first bridle of your video is the D, then is the C, and after theB Correct?
After you put the Bridle A at a distance bellow the B twice as much the distace betwin D,C,B Correct?
Furthermore I would like to ask you regarding how long must be the Brake line?
Best regards

@Giovanniram22
Yes. The first is D.(rear of foil's line) It stays the same.
Then C to the bottom of D's ring.
Then B to the bottom of C's ring
Then A to the bottom of B's ring
for brakes please see Hobby Kings Community Forum for set up tips.

180 to 250mm should work great! The center lines will look like they drop parallel to each other from the foil. Best

The first line I start with is the D... It stays the same. Then on to C, then B, then A ( the shortest)
