The first book is Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Hearris... There are 8 books in the series....the ninth one is coming out some time this year.... Don't read the books thinkin you're going to be reading True Blood... The show is good but the books are better (Sookie's not as bitchy and Jason's not as stuped as they have him in the show)

yes, it is based in more than 1 book, til this moment there are (i gess, not very sure) 9 books... First: Dead until midnight. Second: Dead in Dallas. Everuone from Charlaine Harris, U can download them free at rapidshare. U can get the title of each one in Charlaine's website. There are really awesome! Im in the 7th book: Dead as doornail, Im'loving it!!! I strongly recomend them.... Enjoy them!!!!
