This song reminds me so much of how I blamed my mother for so much growing up. In a lot of ways I can connect with how Christina felt to her father. Though my mother wasn't physically abusive to anyone, she was emotionally and verbally abusive to me. I blamed her for a lot of my insecurities and other things.
