Although I wasn't there (obviously) that's the story that I heard as well...In May 1977 the group got together in a Manchester record store after seeing a Sex Pistols show. They started calling themselves the Stiff Kittens at first, then they took the name Warzawa until late 1977. They changed their name again after recording their first demo due to a copyright already held by another group called the Warsaw Pakt. All of that history aside though, this song is very beautiful.
