@marcusos1111 well the traing it rough but the heard compared to the army training for the marines is much harder but the army got it better when it comes to special ops groups like delta force and special forces that what I plan to do is join to some time than try apply for special forces and all marines are required to platoon leadership courses during basics
OH and the Royal marines those guys are the REAL lion hearted marines (not saying that the american army is rubbish or anything just my opinion that the royal marines are the best marines there are in this modern day)

Im a poolee going shipping in a couple days and I still dont know what the hell the DI means when he says ADJUST. I thought it was supposed to be a close order command like COVER DOWN. Can anybody clarify?

@wrestlingmachine00 adjust is a preparatory command like when you sit down in class, they'll scream aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadjust! then you start screaming out the dittis or "knowledge" that the Prac Hat teaches you.

@salcedo111m Yes The DI (drill intructor) says Adjust! and the platton says Ready to fight ready to kill ready to die but never will series 1071 and they go on to name their senior DIs name.

@marcusos1111 well the traing it rough but the heard compared to the army training for the marines is much harder but the army got it better when it comes to special ops groups like delta force and special forces that what I plan to do is join to some time than try apply for special forces and all marines are required to platoon leadership courses during basics

You generalise too much; Americans are told in school that you are the best! by your parents also, and by the high school, and colleges etc, that your the best: Told by your army that you are the Best and by your media. I think the 'shock of Battle' will be so very real to them after all that puffed up bullshit! it is almost unfair to them.
