  • SA was a bit pitchy

  • That's also my favorite song from the album,... and it's also my favorite band for 16 years already!!! 311 , uou!!! These guys are the best group ever!!

  • hhhh

  • I do like this album a lot. But a lot of their songs follow the same format. Melodic intro, slow verse, climactic chorus. Do that again. Then bridge. Then wrap it up....

  • ha, at 1:07, sa busts out a killer old guy stance

  • lol

  • @drewsky684 haha i noticed that too

  • they get better every album...why record the same type of shit every album. They got nothing but tighter and better at their instruments...i love the old stuff and have been with them since music but the new shit is so much more creative. I look forward to the next one.

  • the bridge riff as absolutely sick. makes me groove like i did listening to plain and taiyed.

  • 311 was my favorite band, but uplifter had the same formula for almost every song, a slow intro, but mainly every song had a big chorus. Just kind of boring, I LOVE MUSIC AND GRASSROOTS. Less polished more raw, but now their to commercial.

  • I agree...I really loved the hard, edgy stuff they used to do. They're a completely different band now, but I can still dig it.

  • I agree. I've been a 311 fan since the early-mid 90s. My favorite songs are from the early 90s.... more raw, edgy. GRASSROOTS may be my favorite album to date.

  • this album is sooo amazing!! by far the best 311 cd =) every single song is a hit!

  • god this show was soo good and the venue was awesome

smoking blunts up on the terrace with no hassle from anyone, just herb, drinks, friends and 311

  • Its a wonderful life friend haha

  • is it me or does it look like chad sexton is wearing a mask?

  • yeah great song, they haven't been playing this on their summer tour, so you're lucky! Just got back from the July 4th show in Atlanta, another incredible show, you know they played some homebrew too!

  • i know! the secret show was sick! glad i was able to capture it and share with yall. this is my fave song off the new album

  • When I first heard Uplifter this was automatically my favorite one when i just got the album. I like them all, of course, but this one was by far my favorite. It just so peaceful, you know?

  • One of the best songs on the album

  • thanks for posting this- one of the best tunes on the CD!

  • SA's verse takes the song to a different level. he makes the song amazing

  • i love this song. Thanks for the post

  • phuckface makes some sense.... but phuckface if you are the same person you were listening to grassroots then you are behind in the past. if my buddies could see a new point of view and a new understanding from an old way of life, then the new 311 would be an eye opening experience for them. you need something new to make yourself appreciate the old.

  • my fav off the new album!

  • another 311 classic. lovin uplifter more and more.

  • this song is one of my faves off the new album. mellow but not quite so mellow

  • "You can't make me hate you no matter how punk you act. No matter what you don't I won't react" ......311 Well that's what the band thinks. I'm not the same, so with that being said "pukeface69". Eat a dick up till ya hick up! It's obvious your a test tube baby who knows nothing of good music. You couldn't tell a musical arrangement from a soundboard sample...I'll tell my 12 year old sister to look for you at the blink 182 reunion tour. Asshole!

  • "Eat a dick up till ya hickup!"

Oh my fucking God! That has to be the funniest thing I've heard in a while. Fuckin' Blink 182...nice one as well.

  • Yea,well phuckface ..feel the beat or get lost.

  • If you don't like the music why you keep listening to it? Seriously, its stupid to see your dumbass comments on every 311 video i watch on here. No wonder why you call yourself phuckface, Fuckface!

  • absolutely incredible.

  • This my favorite song off the album!!!! and they sound really good live too... i wish they would come to orlando

  • They just played Orlando!

  • this might be my fav song on the new album

  • No doubt...SA KILLS IT! What a song! I can't wait to see this.

  • sa kills it ...,

  • The song is called "Golden Sunlight" off their new album, Uplifter. Amazing song, amazing album.

  • thanks braddah
