We don't care about Afghanistan. We assisted the Mujahideen during the Soviet War in Afghanistan because it was the Cold War and we hated Soviet Union, not because we wanted to help Afghanistan.
At this point we're trying to beat the Soviet Union's record of 9 years occupying Afghanistan. Six years down, only three more left, go team NATO!
