Yr half-right. Some of the agric students were affirmably vile Tory tosspots. The other half of the students were great, including international students from all over the world. It is past students who have been major mover and shakers in the resurgence of the village without the college, such as the farmers' market, the community land trust and local community activism that stopped the threat of 4000 homes being built on part of the college estate in 2006, ruining an area of outstanding beauty
