I am fascinated by the knowledge of music theory....I am solely self taught on guitar, banjo and dobro and now 50 and too old to delve too deeply into learning much more theory (too many atrophied brain cells).....I would give the left one to be able to play steel...my favorite instrument.
Hi Micky. I had always had a problem getting that second part of the bridge until by accident I just slid the bar back to the seventh fret and dropped my second string a half tone and BINGO there it was.

A diminished chord is comprised of all Minor 3rd intervals...C D# F# A...etc. the chord repeats itself every 4th position on the neck because this.
