jack blacks version has practically nothing got to do with the really technologized place or the place of the giants, only about the place of all the small people... it has a lot of different parts added and take away and is alot funnier i mean i even laughed at one part in the credits where it had "Butt-crack man" - ________
so if your a type who loves to laugh take jack blacks if you like the more serious version i say stick with this version.
When was this movie made. It looks like it's from the 60's or something but the special effects are pretty realistic. The girl is a bit too young though.

It was made in 1960 and I think the girl is about the age that Johnathan swift had in mind. In the original tale Glumdaclitch was 9.
