I had it on my mp3 player. Occasionally it would turn up when I used the shuffle thing. Especially since I don't have a massive number of song on there. I learned it the same way you learn any song - just by hearing the lyrics.

People seem to think it's harder just because it's slightly list-like. It's not - most songs don't make much sense anyway. I noticed after a while that I was saying it along in my head when it played. It didn't take much to fill in the gaps and learn it all.

Aha, that's probably a mix of nerves and/or embarrassment. A lot of people find it hard to sing (in general) without laughing and this is probably one of the harder ones to sing without laughing.

Also, a lot of laughing is social behaviour rather than a response to actually finding something funny - singing with a friend is more likely to result in laughter than singing alone. However, singing alone can make you feel like you're going a little crazy. But that's ok!

Try singing a verse, or maybe just a few lines (or just one line if you like) with the lyrics in front of you, and then do that same section without the words. Then begin to add a line at a time like that.

Learning just one line of the song is not hard, so once you can definitely remember that line, it's not hard to add just one more. Keep doing that and eventually, you'll have the whole thing.

If you try to memorise a large chunk in one go, it'll just be frustrating and put you off.
