I swam with wally in 2010 off the coast of cairns. He was beautiful!!! His girlfriend was there too but she is very shy atm. There is also another fish called fat Albert that lives at the whitsundays, if your lucky you can get him to swim up and let you feed him. The hump headed maori wrasses are magnificent!! Love ya wally!! xxo
just got back from cairns after going on the sunlovers reef cruise that went out to moore reef (14/04/09) and wally is still alive and swimming. got picures with him to prove it.
so Wally is still going strong! good to know! - and he has a girlfriend!
