GaDawgs, that ain't the way I heard it. Kid Rock said on Howard Stern years ago that he met Joe C. at one of his concerts. Joe tried to get backstage to get an autograph and Kid Rock thought he was a little kid and asked him where his parents were, and Joe told him that he was 21 years old.

Joe used to travel around and go to all of Kid Rock's shows, so Kid Rock asked him if he wanted a job. The rest is history.
