Capitalist mode of production has revolutionised technology/ science and human organisation to such an extent that Market System has become a FALSE LIMIT to truly and effectively taking care of our NEEDS AND WELL BEING. We need to share the Earth in COOPERATION not in COMPETITION and transcend the PROFIT motive to SANCTITY OF LIFE. We have all the means and resources , the human creative genius for a meaningfull path of harmony within and without.

Carolyn Lukensmeyer from America Speaks neglects to mention that the majority of people present at her town halls voted for NO CHANGE on social spending, Social Security and Medicare - many more than voted for spending cuts.
The materials they presented at the town halls were also misleading, and many of us questioned the so-called "facts." This was nothing more than an infomercial for the Pete Peterson "let's cut Social Security" fetish. Why did Obama put Peterson in charge of this sham?
