1994 f150 4.9L / 300 c.i.d. spiral flow exhaust

hey this thing sound amazing..i was thinking of doin a similar thing, i have a 95 f150 4.9, and i have manifolds, theres 2 pipes and go to 1 right under the cab and no muffler or cats. that pipe runs to the bed and theres a glass pack there and then tail pipe that goes out, i dont like it that much, not a deep sound at all, if i took the glass pack out and put a Y-pipe in it and put 2 of those spiral flow mufflers on it and ran it out the back as duals would that seem to work or no?

just kidding...fords are good..ive got a 93 f150 with a straight six...its a good little truck.

not as bad ass as my 79 dodge d100 with a 440..but ...hey..atleast its better on gas :p

Did that y pipe change anything with the 02 sensor any other things i should be aware of before I do pretty much the same thing? Thanks

@201wrestler No there is an 02 bung on the y-pipe and the egr hooks into the manifold so it doesn't matter. The only thing that changes is that if you want a cat you need to get a 2.5" slip on unit because the factory pre-cat is part of the original y-pipe and the walker unit extends past where the factory cat mounts.

yes it has a cat....f150s come with 2 and it sounds to me like he has both of them on...i just took on mine with the 302 one off and it sounds like a race car this compared to it is very quite

@codylovesfords Read the description. It states exactly what was on the truck at the time of the video, from manifold to turn down, the grass muffled it quite a bit but the spiral flow muffler is quiet to begin with.

@briggs5sboy Well not exactly haha After I did the 4x4 conversion the fan was too close to the radiator and cut it so I replaced it with a thinner one and filled with water. I forgot about the water and it hit like 5 degrees last December, everything froze and I cut the radiator again then drove it like 10 miles to my buddies warehouse with no coolant at all. I already had a 351W sittin there and figured why not...... I imagine if I had put a water pump and radiator in it would still have run.
