- Would it be ok if I were to use a 9800GX2 as a PhysX card with dual GTX295 in SLI?

- Do I need a separate card if I want my PC to have both PhyX and CUDA? or they can both run from a single graphic card?

- Lets say I'm using the same motherboard, Can I run SLI with Dual GTX295 while using a 9800GX2 as a PhysX card and another 9800GX2 as a standalone CUDA card?

Thanls dude, As u know or dont know there was some Fastra project thing, and they used some pci-e flex spacers so u can actually use all 7 slots. But as i know the last unit will use x1 mainstream mode. however with that kind of computing power u can do wonders and miracles...

Thanks for the answer, and they dont need cooling as much as Gforce models do since they use half as power as gforce units do. They produce less heat.

It's because their memory bottle-necks the frame rates. Go have a look at the Asus MARS graphics card benchmark, its a quad core 4GB fucking monster, the same size as a gtx 295. If i were him i would have gone with the EVGA FTW editions, which have 2GB each, seen as the MARS is very hard to get a hold of (only 1000 made)

think this board is good, but not for gamers as the HS are soo tiny for 2x NF200 and a X58, they cant keep cool, what temps were u getting, 70 on the NB is over heating. i can also tell you that no card these days actually use 16x all of them use 8x. id prefer eVGA x58 SLi Classified E760 or E759 edition much better :P, 39K is alright for i7 and 3x GPU + PPU. 5.9 is being held back by the HDD. GPUs and GPU will easily hit 7.9, i have a 88K GTX OC2 that gets a rating on 7.2 and a Q6600 @ 7.2 also

hmmmm no dual GPU takes up 2x 16x sots, as in plugged in, and not every card, this was confirmed by nVidia themselves. dual GPU's take up 1 x16 slot (plugged in) with a NF200 with a SLi cable to the 2nd GPU, or on the CO-OP its just one board but with 2x GPU but no SLi cable but still has NF200. hence why in some cases the Classified E760 beats a E759, due to less Latency in the GPU's

false - you cannot run REAL DX10 in XP. You can export the libraries so you can trick DX10 only games but you CANNOT run real DX10 on XP. It's a kernal hard coded into Vista. It's physically impossible to get DX10 onto XP. DX10 was never meant to be for visual improvements, so all the graphics features of DX10 can be done in DX9 BUT DX9 will never be able to get the improvements and code from DX10.
