My sons 9 and been at J4K for only 9 months and is now having trials at a pro club in his first season of playing ,so they are doing something right....

shocking hand position when set

it's the highest comfortable catching position so you can keep the ball infront of you. if you catch it at the highest point your body will start to go backwards and with young goalkeepers they will run under the ball.

Haha, makes me laugh. Most of you have commented have probably never played in goal in their lives and if they have in a shitty team or in the park. I am a proud member of J4K and i am currently playing and everton reserves at 17. Alot of goalkeepers who go to J4K are successful.

To DaveAmazin, only the FA coach that way mate, if you have ever been to a proffessional club in europe they all coach this way. End of day where is the hardest save, bottom corners, so why have hands up ? 1of the reasons we have so many european keepers in the prem, Just4Keepers one of few schools who coach correctly!!
