@brunodk11 well your in luck, if u do decide to make one of these, you can modify it to work on grass using a long thick strip of ice. its called ice blocking and is a popular board sport in hot countries, youtube iceblocking

@gogob246 i did, skenkboarding was a phraise i coined. it takes between 5 mins - an hour to make

yeh i no that you cant ride a snow board in the snow coz of the wheels and i no that adding metal bars will make it go twice the speed through the snow but why dont you just call it a snow skate instead of a skenk board coz it would be a lot easier

@gogob246 even if you take ur wheels and trucks off, a plain board just not like to ride straight, ading these bars do make it go faster but it also alows you to go str8 and gives you something to turn off

and snow skates are bigger and, either have grooves in it or they have a ski under neath, this has neather, thats why its called a skenkboard, and its also easyer to find if its called something different , hope that helps check out the other vids :)

How did you make the straps

@TheCharles4life thanx for the question, their simply made from an old belt screwwed to the skateboard deck, but bair in mind the runners are more important thsn the straps, also theres a full howto in the video description, hope this helps - check out the other vids

@sk8terLocks oh why of corse, ofiously they have to be deep enuff to divert snow, alowing you to go straight but not too deep that ur board is rised to high off the floor.

the shape is also important, round runners push snow out of the way but flat runners compress, i believe that 2nd one is better,

@sk8terLocks oh these are much better, simply because you can jump out, and keep your shoes on, the way it works is, u put your feet in at an angle. when you straighten them it makes the straps tight, so if u want to bail to avoid a slam you just turn your feet and jump out,

the also other advantage is the location the straps are possioned seting them up this way alows you to controle your wait over the back end, alowing quick carving and acturate control. my skenk is set for goofie footed
