I waited 6 weeks before washing but I was using organic root stimulator herbal cleanse for my scalp. But until your locs are fully locked you are going to have some that unravel, its just a part of the journey...

I discovered that Lock & Twist gel when I was in Dallas and realized that I forgot my Curls Whipped Cream. IMHO the Lock & Twist gel works better than any expensive product for my twist-outs and braid-outs that I've tried - especially since my hair is so much longer now. I'll be at Sally Beauty getting that gel and not buying $50+ (quarts) of Whipped Cream again. I'm trying to use up all of my "boutique" products before I loc. Your locs look fab & you're so pretty! Great video.
