A economist on Chris Matthews broke the ryan plan down and did the math. The ryan plan cut Medicare by about 40%, and virually eliminated Medicaid!! Both plans were placed mostly into the hands of private insurance, which for the elderly, would be more of a burden for them to deal with!!!! Medicaid would require copays the elderly dont have!

The difference though is that all other times it was NEVER done as long term and for that much money. Bush installed the Bank bailouts and our "fiscal health" will return much quicker if we remove the Bush tax cuts... the same tax cuts Republicans extended after holding unemployment benefits hostage.

There are a few websites with millionaires begging Obama to raise their taxes so they can help pay off the debt. It makes no mathematical sense, say, if Apple generated 890 million in profits last year...but only reported to the government 100 million to Uncle Sam. If the little guy did that, he'd be in jail. If they truly wanted to fix things they would live off of all the benefits and expense accounts and work for $1.00. And on other boards in other companies, the same dynamic plays out: Coca Cola. Chevron. IBM. Apple. Johnson and Johnson. McDonalds. That is a LOT of money. Money that ordinarily would get taxed. Money that usually the little guy pays...but his bosses don't.

Why should the common man sacrifice at all? What does he have to sacrifice? Meanwhile trickle up poverty has siphoned the wealth in this country into stagnant holding pools that destroy the value of money in a Fiat system by driving inflation. A economist on Chris Matthews broke the ryan plan down and did the math. The ryan plan cut Medicare by about 40%, and virually eliminated Medicaid!! Both plans were placed mostly into the hands of private insurance, which for the elderly, would be more of a burden for them to deal with!!!! Medicaid would require copays the elderly dont have!

Also, the president doesn't do anything but sign or veto laws. Every policy comes from the Congress, so blaming it on Bush doesn't mean anything... but when the Dems got Congress in 06, gas was $1.79 an unemployement was at 5%... those were the days.
And Clinton didn't start creating a surplus until the Reps got Congress. Check your history.
