i recorded videos on my aiptek hd 720 but i hit format in the settings and it now all my vids and pics are gone. is there any way i can get them back??
The videos are in mov format. You can use the videos in wmm if you have a file converter and convert the file to a compatible format. You can't use it straight out of the memory card.
I have one that I use its called OJOsoft video file converter. There are several, you just need one that is able to convert mov file to avi or wmv. I got mine off of torrent but if you want to buy a legit copy of one they are about 20-30 dollars average. Most camcorders have this issue, of recording in mov format. The quality does get compressed but if you jack up the resolution it's good enough quality for youtube and if you are editing it then it will be compressed a bit anyway.
i am not an expert on this camera. Perhaps taking out the battery and plugging it back in? Or maybe the battery is dead and replacing it would work? You can get a battery on their website and perhaps amazon.
Sounds like the screen is broke the only thing you can do is exchange it with the store you bought it at or ask for a refund and buy a new one someplace else.

If it has an imput just use either something that has an output female (TV VCR etc) and plug the 3.5 to RCA male cable into it or you could get a 3.5 to RCA female and plug whatever you want straight into it if the camera supports it it could be different depending on what the camera is, but thats what it is for this model :)

um i have windows movie maker and i want to put videos from my phone ontomovie maker,,, but my program for my phone videos is quicktime and move maker doesnt exxept thoes types of videos.. do u know how to convery quicktime to another program compatible for movie maker

There is a video saying how to do it if your more of a visual person on youtube it's from aiptek I haven't gotten it to work either I either get a black screen on the camcorder with sound or the screen for a couple of seconds and then black. When I get the other feature to work playing your videos on tv it works but the screen has a tint of blue to it.

the quality is excellent. The cooking video is actually not the best example because of youtube compressing it. This camera is true HD quality.
