Many things were unique about this show but the politics of the time are the most illuniating. Dad is a single parent and it is OK. In the very first episode he comments about why can't a man bring up his kids on his own. PC and stupid feminists killed that idea and now the streets are full of wild kids killing each other.

just found the dvd of worzels christmas special. was really good lots of famous actors in it including barbara windsor and billy connoly. Called a cup of tea and a slice of cake.
